Dr. Kevin J. Salinas was born and raised in Northern Virginia. He is a first generation to go to college and furthermore Dental School. He attended The College of William and Mary where he excelled academically and later attended Virginia Commonwealth University to obtain his doctor of dental surgery degree.
While attending school Dr. Salinas participated in several community/missionary trips to remote locations, including Dominican Republic, Jamaica, and his native country Bolivia. He enjoys helping people who are in need of healthcare on his mission trips and connects with these people on a personal level. He enjoys working with people and making them happy by transforming their smile.
In his spare time Dr. Salinas enjoys traveling and seeing the world, learning about different cultures and connecting with them. A native Washingtonian, Dr. Morrison received his D.D.S. degree from the University of Maryland Dental School, graduating magna cum laude, in 1989. He received top honors in multiple dental specialties and was elected to three national honor societies. Dr. Morrison received the top designation of "Master" from the Academy of General Dentistry (M.A.G.D). This title is awarded to less than 1% of all general dentists nationwide, with Dr. Morrison as one of the youngest dentists to achieve such distinction. He has been practicing dentistry for over 35 years.
Dr Morrison comes from a strong family, dental tradition. He comes from a family of dentists where his dad served both in the Navy and as an esteemed DC dentist. His mother was a hygienist and his brother is a dentist in Ohio. Dr. Morrison is a father of seven children and this gift has strengthened his ability to work on patients of varying ages and abilities, from his youngest child to his mother.
