Dr. Lauren Cerullo graduated with honors from Georgetown University in Washington, DC, with a degree in art history and premedical studies. She went on to obtain her doctorate in medicine from Rush Medical College in Chicago, where she was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha medical honor society for academic achievement. During her medical school training she received numerous honors including the Janet M. Glasgow award for a female student graduating first in her class.
Dr. Lauren Cerullo completed a medical internship at Rush University and then completed her dermatology residency at the University of California, Los Angeles, where she was chosen to serve as chief resident. Throughout her years of dermatology training, she had the opportunity to work with leaders in the field, including a mentorship award to study at the University of Bologna in Italy. She has presented at numerous dermatology meetings and published in peer-reviewed journals. During residency, she was also active in teaching medical students and volunteering as medical staff at Camp Wonder, a summer camp for children with severe skin disease.
After graduating from residency, Dr. Lauren Cerullo moved to Indiana and worked for several years in private practice. She has taught medical students at the University of Notre Dame medical school and has mentored residents from local family practice residencies. Dr. Lauren Cerullo is a fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology and a member of the Indiana Academy of Dermatology and the Women's Dermatologic Society. Dr. A. David Soleymani was born in Cheverly, Maryland but grew up as a Hoosier in Valparaiso, Indiana. After graduating from Valparaiso High School, he received his undergraduate degree from Indiana University in Bloomington. He then completed his medical education at Indiana University School of Medicine, followed by residency training at The Ohio State University Medical Center. During his dermatology residency, he trained in medical, surgical, Mohs surgery, and dermatology.
After becoming board certified in Dermatology, Dr. Soleymani practiced and was Assistant Clinical Professor in Dermatology at Northwestern University in downtown Chicago for 10 years. As a fellow of the American Society for Mohs Surgery, he has a strong passion for treating skin cancer. His interests include medical, surgical, and cosmetic dermatology. In order to stay on the cutting edge of dermatology, Dr. Soleymani regularly attends advanced training sessions in new and emerging techniques in dermatology and communicates daily with dermatology colleagues around the world.

Dr. Singam is from the suburbs of Chicago, Illinois and attended a prestigious 6-year combined B.A./M.D. program at the University of Missouri-Kansas City. Between his fifth and sixth years, he then completed a dermatology research year exploring inflammatory skin disorders and skin cancer at the Feinberg School of Medicine at Northwestern University in Chicago, achieving numerous publications. He completed his dermatology residency training at the Medical College of Wisconsin in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
Dr. Singam’s clinical interests include the broad spectrum of medical dermatology conditions, in addition to pediatric and surgical dermatology.
Dr. Suleman Bangash is Board Certified in Dermatology and is a Fellowship trained Mohs Micrographic Skin Cancer Surgeon. Dr. Bangash is originally from the Elgin area and is a graduate of Elgin Academy. He attended Northwestern University for his undergraduate studies and attended medical school at the Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine. He did his internship training at Summa Health System, in Ohio, and then completed his Dermatology residency in New York City at the Lutheran General Hospital.
After completing his dermatology training, Dr. Bangash was one of only 40 physicians chosen nationwide to do an additional year of Mohs Surgery fellowship training. He completed his Moh’s Surgery Fellowship in Tallahassee, Florida at a program accredited by the American College of Mohs Surgery. As a fellowship trained Mohs Surgeon, Dr. Bangash is trained in the surgical removal, pathologic interpretation, and reconstructive surgery of skin cancer. As an expert in Cutaneous Oncology, he is involved in the treatment, management, and regular follow-up of high-risk skin cancer patients.Dr. Bangash continued his work for two years at Dermatology Associates of Tallahassee as an Attending Mohs Surgeon. He then returned to his hometown in the northwest suburbs of Chicago, where he now practices at Mohs Surgery and Dermatology Center, with offices located in Elgin and Crystal Lake, IL. Dr. Bangash is a staff physician affiliated with Sherman and Provena St. Joseph Hospitals in Elgin, Centegra Woodstock Memorial Hospital, and St. Alexius hospital in Hoffman Estates.
Dr. Bangash has lectured and presented at national meetings of the American Academy of Dermatology and the American College of Mohs Surgery. In addition, Dr. Bangash has been published in the Journal of the American Academy of Dermatology and Dermatologic Surgery. As an educator, Dr. Bangash has taught Mohs Micrographic Surgery to Dermatology residents in New York City. Dr. Apichai is a board-certified dermatopathologist and anatomic pathologist. She joined Clear Skin Dermatology as their in-house dermatopathologist in 2016. Dr. Apichai draws on her extensive dermatopathology experience to provide accurate diagnoses, which helps the practice's clinicians identify the best course of treatment for our patients. In each case she utilizes the clinical history, description of the lesion, and clinical picture(s) along with the histology to develop clear cut and precise pathology reports. Dr. Apichai strongly believes in a collaborative team approach to patient care and works closely with the practice's clinicians to discuss complex cases to ensure a precise diagnosis. Dr. Apichai is also an expert in laboratory development and management and was instrumental in establishing the practice's in-house read only laboratory and serves as the laboratory’s director. Her expertise, direction, and attention to detail ensures our laboratory delivers the highest quality dermatopathology slides and patient care.
Dr. Apichai received her Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from the University of Illinois at Chicago with the highest distinction from the honors program and earned her medical degree through the University's College of Medicine's prestigious Guaranteed Professional Program Admissions in 2005. After fulfilling her residency in anatomic and clinical pathology at the University of Illinois Medical Center, Dr. Apichai traveled to Dallas, Texas, to complete her fellowship in dermatopathology at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center. Her professional affiliations include the American College of Pathologists, American Academy of Dermatology, Chicago Dermatological Society, Chicago Medical Society, and American Society of Dermatopathology. Dr. Apichai has coauthored and collaborated in several publications and medical presentations. She is an avid reader and is up to date on the latest findings and advancements in dermatopathology.
Dr. Apichai and her husband are the proud parents to 4 children. During her free time, she enjoys traveling internationally, skiing, and hiking.
Rany Jazayerli, MD, is a board-certified dermatologist and a fellow of both the American Academy of Dermatology and the American Society of Dermatologic Surgeons. He leads Clear Skin Dermatology with locations in St. Charles, Oak Park, and Sycamore, Illinois.
Dr. Jazayerli graduated Phi Beta Kappa from Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, Maryland. He then received his medical degree from the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor. Dr. Jazayerli went on to complete his internship at Oakwood Hospital in Dearborn, Michigan, and his dermatology residency at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit, Michigan.
At his practice, Dr. Jazayerli enjoys treating skin diseases of all types in patients of all ages. He has a particular interest in skin cancer treatment and wart removal. He also uses phototherapy and advanced biologic therapies to treat psoriasis, vitiligo, eczema, and other conditions. Dr. Jazayerli has an expanding interest in various cosmetic treatments, including Botox®, Xeomin®, Juvederm®, Radiesse®, and microneedling.
