Joseph Mauceri, MD, is a family medicine specialist serving patients at Generations Family Practice located in Cary, North Carolina. He specializes in family medicine of all ages with focused training in osteopathic manual medicine, trigger point injections, and soft tissue joint injections. 

Dr. Mauceri graduated medical school from the Universidad Autonoma De Guadalajara in Zapopan, Mexico. Originally from Brooklyn, New York, he moved to Valley Stream, New York, when he was almost 10 years old. 

In 2021, Dr. Mauceri and his wife relocated to Cary, North Carolina, to join the Generations Family Practice.

Francis Dang, PA-C, is a board-certified physician assistant at Heights Dermatology in Lake Jackson. She joined the team in 2020.  

Francis graduated from the University of Texas with a Bachelor of Science in Nutritional Sciences in Austin, Texas. She then attended the University of Texas Health Science Center in Houston, where she completed a dietetic internship in the Texas Medical Center and earned a Master in Public Health. Her master’s has a special focus on health promotion and behavioral sciences. 

She later returned to her hometown of Dallas, where she worked for six years as a registered dietitian for the UT Southwestern Solid Organ Transplant Program. During that time, her passion and interest for medicine grew, and she decided to pursue a new career as a physician assistant. In 2019, she completed a Master of Physician Assistant Studies from Radford University in Roanoke, Virginia.

During her time as a registered dietitian, Francis cared for patients with a variety of medical conditions and learned the importance of patient-centered and preventative healthcare, all based on evidence-based medicine. She carried these values with her throughout her medical training and continues to uphold them as a physician assistant. Her interest and passion for dermatology came after experiencing the inner workings of a dermatology clinic during her clinical rotations. She is currently a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants and the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants.

Kendall graduated Screven County High School in 2007. She attended Georgia Southern University and graduated with her Bachelor's of Science in Nursing in 2010. She worked in home health care and hospital-settings, including the emergency room as a registered nurse (RN). In 2014, she graduated Kennesaw State University with a Master's of Science in Nursing. After receiving certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner, Kendall began working as a Nurse Practitioner. She worked for 6 years at a clinic in Sylvania, then spent a year back in the home health setting. She has now opened her own practice, Clark Family Care. Kendall is the daughter of Brad and Cindi Kent. She married her college sweetheart, Zac. They live in Sylvania with their 2 dogs, Finn and Lucy.

In 2010, I graduated with University Honors from the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. I came back to Stone County and worked at SCMC before accepting a position with Arkansas Department of Health. I served as a Public Health Nurse for Stone/Izard/Sharp and Fulton counties working in family planning, immunizations, communicable diseases, WIC, and emergency management. While working for ADH, I desired to advance my degree and I successfully graduated from Chamberlain College of Nursing in Chicago with honors. I spent the last 5 years working as a board certified family nurse practitioner with several local family physicians. I gained experience to evaluate, treat, and manage health of all ages. Zachary Lo, NP-C, is a registered nurse practitioner serving patients at Generations Family Practice in Cary, North Carolina. He joined the team in 2021 and provides acute, chronic, and primary care to patients in the Triangle area.

Zachary grew up in Taiwan before moving to California. In 2011, he received his master’s degree in nursing from Samuel Merrit University in Oakland, California. 

Shortly after graduating, he worked at Yu Care Medical Group and Garfield Health Center in Monterey Park, California. Before joining the Generations Family Practice team, Zachary provided primary care to patients at Northeast Medical Services in San Jose, California. 

He is fluent in Mandarin Chinese and Medical Cantonese. Zachary also has extensive experience with electronic medical records, including NextGen and Athena. 

He enjoys practicing medicine because he gets to build relationships with his patients. It keeps him humble to know there are many people out there with unique experiences and backgrounds.

Alex Tse, MD, is a board-certified obesity medicine specialist. He brings over 40 years of medical experience to the Generations Family Practice team located in Cary, North Carolina, where he uses that experience to provide high-quality care to his patients. Dr. Tse is also the Chief Medical Officer of Cary Medical Management, located in Cary, North Carolina.  

He graduated from the University of Hong Kong Medical School. Dr. Tse then completed his residency and fellowship training at the New Jersey Medical College of Medicine & Dentistry and Children’s Hospital in Boston, Massachusetts. He has training in Allergy and Immunology from Boston Children’s Hospital.

Dr. Tse created the Healthy Longevity Program at Generations Family Practice, which works to transform the lives of diabetic and obese patients. The program supports and monitors patients on medically prescribed low-carb diets for the management of chronic conditions with inflammation such as diabetes. The program’s goal is to reduce inflammation through diet resulting in the ability to reduce or eliminate the need for medications or insulin.   

Although Dr. Tse primarily focuses on diabetes, his program also benefits patients with obesity, hypertension, PCOS, epilepsy, neurological diseases such as Parkinson's and Alzheimer's, cardiovascular disease, high cholesterol, and mood disorders.

Dr. Lawrence Kacmar, MD

Dr. Kacmar is an independent family physician who is board-certified in both primary care and sports medicine. A former collegiate football athlete and active adult, Dr. Kacmar recognizes the value of preventing and treating sports injuries from the young school age athlete through the aging adult. With a focus in primary care, Dr. Kacmar is able to care for all ages from routine medical care, preventative exam or acute care needs. Dr. Kacmar remains an admitting physician at Edward Hospital.

Shannon Keith, RN-MSN, MHA

Shannon Keith joined The Center for Primary Care and Sports Medicine in 2012. Shannon has enjoyed running for most of her life and continues to participate in long distance running. Shannon's practice interests include athlete functional training, weight management, preventative medicine, diabetes and inflammatory disorders for all gender and ages, as well as, perimenopause, menopause and post menopause women conditions. Shannon believes in a holistic approach to medicine and utilizing nutrition, exercise and supplements alone or in combination with pharmaceuticals.
