“I enjoyed very much my visit with Dr. Jabal and since was my 1st visit, he took the time to answer all my questions in regards to the procedure I was going to have. Since I am a post menaupase patient, we agreed on the Testosterone implants. At the end of the visit, he recommended a supplement that will help the body to optimize the hormones.”

About Dr. Maria Teresa Tam, MD

Dr. Teresa Tam of All for Women Healthcare in Chicago, Illinois, is a graduate of the Rosalind Franklin Chicago Medical School, where she received the Dean’s Award at her graduation (1994). She undertook her residency obstetrics and gynecology in 1994, at St. Joseph Hospital, completing the program in 1998. She is Board certified by the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, and a fully licensed physician and surgeon by the State of Illinois (license no.: 036.093565).

Dr. Tam has been in private practice since 1998. She was the Associate Director of their Obstetrics & Gynecology residency program for 10 years. She is currently Director of Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgery at Ascension Saint Francis Hospital in Evanston, Illinois; Assistant Professor of Clinical Obstetrics and Gynecology, Rush University Medical Center, Chicago, Illinois; and an attending physician/surgeon at Advodate Illinois Masonic Medical Center and Ascension St Joseph Hospital in Chicago.

Along with her medical practice, Dr. Tam is also an accomplished medical researcher having been published in a number of professional medical journals. She is a noted presenter at national and international medical conferences having presented over two dozen oral presentations, abstracts, video, and poster presentations combined. To date, she has written over 13 published research papers and produced a series of medical education videos. She was awarded “Attending of the Year and received the “National Faculty Award“, an unprecedented seven times as an attending physician and Associate Director of the Ob/Gyne residency program at Ascension Saint Joseph Hospital in Chicago, and as an attending physician and mentor at Ascension Saint Francis Hospital in Evanston.

In 2012, Dr. Tam took a sabbatical from her private practice to undertake a fellowship program in Minimally Invasive Gynecological Surgery (MIGS) at Penn State Hershey Medical Center in Hershey, Pennsylvania. She left Chicago and moved to Hershey, PA for one year. There, she received advanced training in laparoscopic surgery and robotically-assisted surgery using the da Vinci® Robotic Surgical System. During her fellowship, she performed hundreds of MIGS surgeries under the guidance of some of the top MIGS surgeons in the country. She completed her fellowship in June 2013 and returned to Chicago to start her new solo practice, “All for Women Healthcare, SC“,  which, as that time, was located in the Stone Building, in Chicago.

In February 2017, thanks to a growing demand for her medical expertise, Dr. Tam moved to a larger, completely new office in the Ascension Center for Advanced Care (ACAC) building located at 2845 N. Sheridan Road, Suite 902, in Chicago, just down the block from her old office in the Stone Building. The ACAC is a truly modern, state-of-the-art medical building having just been completed in 2015. Dr. Tam’s new office offers patients a beautiful waiting area and four new exam rooms. The ACAC also offers visitors and patients the convenience of valet or indoor self-parking, and even a pharmacy in the lobby.

In 2013, Dr. Tam and All for Women Healthcare received accreditation as a Center of Excellence in Minimally Invasive Gynecology (COEMIG), from the nationally recognized, Surgical Review Corporation (SRC), a nonprofit, patient safety organization. SRC accredits the top facilities, surgeons and medical professionals worldwide that meet our proven standards. An SRC accreditation helps patients identify providers that have met rigorous standards for delivering high-quality perioperative and long-term, follow-up care and distinguish them from those who have not. Insurance companies also use accreditation to identify those surgeons and facilities committed to excellence. Earning SRC’s COEMIG accreditation signifies an ability to consistently deliver the safest, highest-quality care to all patients. This COEMIG designation requires a rigorous screening process and has been successfully renewed for Dr Tam and her practice from 2013 to today.

In 2022, Dr Tam was also accredited with the "Master Surgeon of Excellence In Minimally Invasive Gynecology" from SRC.

The Master Surgeon of Excellence In Minimally Invasive Gynecology is a prestigious accreditation awarded to the top surgeons, physicians and medical professionals who are committed to establishing and maintaining a culture of excellence. This accreditation recognizes the surgeon, independent of the facility at which they practice.

Established in 2003, SRC is an internationally recognized, nonprofit, patient safety organization dedicated to recognizing and refining surgical care. SRC accredits the top hospitals, surgeons and health professionals worldwide that meet our proven standards. SRC’s gynecology accreditation program recognizes surgeons who demonstrate an unparalleled commitment and ability to consistently deliver safe, effective, evidence-based care. The program is structured to help providers continuously improve care quality and patient safety.

Besides medicine, Dr. Tam’s other passion is running… a lot of running! Over the past 20+ years, she has run in no less than 30 marathons (at 26.2 miles each!). She has completed full marathons all over the U.S. and the world including the Chicago Marathon (5 times, latest in October 2015), Las Vegas, Disney World, New York, Washington, DC, Rome, and Paris, just to name a few. She was featured in the news article, “50 Chicago Women in Sports“, appearing in Windy City Sports – Chicago’s Fitness & Recreation Guide Magazine, Chicago, Illinois, September, 1997. Dr. Tam fully understands the needs of female athletes and has helped many face special health challenges unique to their athletic lifestyle. It is no surprise that many of Dr. Tam’s patients are athletes, too. They love the fact that their doctor can identify with their unique needs as women athletes.

In all, Dr. Tam shows genuine understanding, concern, and compassion for all her patients. She takes the time to listen to their needs, as well as advise and educate them. As an accomplished clinician and minimally invasive gyne surgeon with over 20 years professional experience, together with her MIGS fellowship training, Dr. Tam brings an exceptionally high level of expertise and knowledge to her field, coupled with her warm and caring bedside manner for all her patients.

About Dr. Ronald Stuart, MD

Dr. Sid Stuart, a Board Certified Obstetrics and Gynecology physician, has been practicing at The Women’s Group in Pensacola, Florida since 2001.

Dr. Stuart’s professional interests include low and high risk obstetrics, office gynecology including menopausal management, prevention of osteoporosis, infertility and urinary incontinence, minimally invasive surgery for stress urinary incontinence, and all aspects of gynecologic surgery including laparoscopic and vaginal surgery.

Dr. Stuart performs surgeries using the daVinci Surgical System, a device that allows the physician to perform robotically assisted minimally invasive laparoscopic total hysterectomies through small incisions. This means a shorter hospital stay and recovery time and less pain and discomfort for the patient as compared to a traditional abdominal hysterectomy. Dr. Stuart performed the first robotically assisted hysterectomy at Sacred Heart and helped train the OR team to perform these surgeries. He is also a proctor for Intuitive Surgical, the manufacturer of the daVinci System, training other physicians to use the System. The daVinci System is available at Baptist, Sacred Heart and West Florida Hospitals and Dr. Stuart is on staff at each of these hospitals.

Dr. Stuart was born in Grosse Tete, Louisiana and grew up in New Orleans. He attended Jesuit High School and the University of New Orleans where he received a Bachelor of Arts degree in English in 1973. He married Jeanne Marie Elmer, also of New Orleans, and they have four children. He received his medical degree from Louisiana State University Medical School in 1979. Dr. Stuart completed a rotating internship at Lafayette Charity Hospital in 1980 and his residency in obstetrics and gynecology at Ochsner Foundation Hospital in 1983. Licensed to practice medicine in both Louisiana and Florida, he was certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology in 1985.

He is a Fellow in the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology (ACOG) and has served as past chairman of the Louisiana section of the Junior Fellows of ACOG. He previously practiced at the West Florida Medical Center Clinic until he joined The Women’s Group in March 2001. Dr. Stuart has served on the Board of Trustees of West Florida Hospital and the Board of Directors at the Medical Center Clinic. Dr. Stuart is Medical Director of Women's Services at Sacred Heart Hospital, Pensacola.

Dr. Stuart is a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Clinical Sciences at the Florida State University College of Medicine.

Personal interests include fishing, golf and spending time with his grandchildren. Above all, Dr. Stuart appreciates the distinct privilege that is his in being a physician and strives to treat all his patients with compassion and kindness.

“The best OBGYN I ever have. She took her time to listen about my problems/concerns. She helps me with the best care and solutions. I had two different doctors previously to ask for help. None of them care or willing to listen nor helped me. I am very blessed that I found Dr LeBel. ”
