Dr. Banooni has developed a very rich relationship with Cedars Sinai Medical Center, serving on their “Medical Executive Committee” and being a contributing member of their “Centers of Excellence for Minimally Invasive Gynecological Surgery.” Dr. Banooni is also very dedicated to successful hospital delivery outcomes and is a member of the “Performance Improvement Committee,” a departmental committee focused on improving patient outcomes with regard to delivery and care.
Dr. Peyman Banooni has dedicated his career to caring for women of all ages. Dr. Banooni earned his medical degree from the University of California- San Diego in 1999 and he completed his OB/GYN residency at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in June 2003.
Dr. Banooni has lived in Los Angeles for the majority of his life. He maintains that his life's best accomplishment is one that he shares with his lovely wife and being the parents to three amazing young children.
Dr. Karen S. Kornreich is a Board Certified Obstetrician and Gynecologist in Beverly Hills, California, who has been improving the lives of women for over two decades.
Although Dr. Kornreich provides gynecological care to women of all ages, she has a dedicated interest in women who are perimenopausal or in menopause. With that commitment, in 2001, Dr. Kornreich became one of the few certified menopause clinician specialists in the Los Angeles area with the North American Menopause Society.
Utilizing a holistic and integrative approach, Dr. Kornreich provides a highly customized treatment plan for each woman after taking a complete medical history, discussing symptoms in detail, and performing a thorough physical examination. Versed in a full scope of gynecologic treatment options, Dr. Kornreich’s tailored programs may include nutrition and exercise recommendations, herbal supplements, birth control counseling, STD screening, bone density evaluation, as well as, appropriate referrals for mammograms and colonoscopies. A long-time resident of California, Dr. Kornreich earned her undergraduate degree at the University of California, Santa Barbara. In addition to her private practice, Dr. Kornreich is on the medical staff at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center and performs outpatient gynecological surgeries at the Roxbury Surgery Center in Beverly Hills.
Ruth Cousineau, MD, FACOG, is one of the physicians practicing at Women’s Care of Beverly Hills, an obstetrics and gynecology practice that has locations in Beverly Hills and Redondo Beach, California.
A Fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology, Dr. Ruth F. Cousineau earned a B.S. in Biology from Stanford University before earning her medical doctorate from UCLA School of Medicine in 1984. She completed her internship and residency training at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles. Dr. Cousineau was elected by her peers as Clinical Chief of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center and is named “Top Doctor” by US News and World Report. She has also been honored by the Cedars-Sinai Circle of Friends program. Her charity involvement includes the Cedars-Sinai Helping Hand of Los Angeles, Shane’s Inspiration, the March of Dimes, and the Aviva Center, among others.
