She then spent a decade working in global health and women's rights, spending much of that time overseas. She later obtained both her Bachelors of Science in Nursing and her Masters in Midwifery from Columbia University. Prior to joining Boro Park, Jen worked as a Certified Nurse Midwife at Woodhull Medical and Mental Health Center in Brooklyn. Jen speaks both Spanish and French and loves caring for women and babies from all of the wonderfully diverse communities that call Brooklyn their home.

Dr. Elaine Sklar is board certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology and received her medical degree from the New York College of Osteopathic Medicine in Old Westbury, New York. Dr. Sklar was appointed Chief Resident while completing her residency in OB/GYN at Maimonides Medical Center in Brooklyn, New York.
