Hello, I am Dr. G. I grew up in Los Angeles, CA. and moved to Boston, MA for dental school and residency training. After completing my training, I moved back to LA to be closer to family. My treatment philosophy is to deliver high-end and custom-tailored orthodontic treatment to accommodate anyone who desires a beautiful smile!
When I am not seeing patients, I enjoy playing and watching basketball. I spend the rest of my time with my wife, son and our families and friends. We love cooking, travelling and sometimes just relaxing on the couch for movie nights. I look forward to meeting you.

Before becoming an orthodontist, Dr. Lai graduated from the University of Southern California in 2003, earning his Doctor of Dental Surgery and spent seven years practicing as a general dentist in Arizona and Nevada. He then returned to residency for his orthodontic certificate at Roseman University in Henderson, Nevada, graduating in 2013.
Having practiced orthodontics for the past 8 years in different types of settings such as large DSOs, private general practice offices and orthodontic offices has given him valuable experience to handle just about any situation that may present on a daily basis. More importantly, it has given him the knowledge to provide excellent patient care. Not only is Dr. Lai a highly-skilled professional but he is kind, down-to-earth, has a wonderful chairside manner and we are proud to have him on our team.

Dr Virdee graduated with a dental degree in 2008 from King’s College London, UK. She completed an Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery internship before settling into private practice in London. After her move to the USA, she was keen to pursue her career further and obtained a two-year post-graduate degree in Advanced Education in General Dentistry from Eastman Institute for Oral Health, University of Rochester. Dr Virdee went on to complete a one-year General Practice Residency Program before completing her post-Graduate training in Orthodontics from the Eastman Institute for Oral Health at the University of Rochester. Before entering private practice, he completed a three-year specialty program in orthodontics at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey (UMDNJ) in Newark. There, Dr. Yusupov received postdoctoral training in the latest orthodontic techniques, including temporary anchorage devices (TADs), clear braces, and Damon braces.
Dr. Yusupov is active in the professional orthodontic community. He regularly participates in continuing education courses and attends conferences to stay abreast of new technologies and treatment advances.
Outside of work, Dr. Yusupov enjoys spending time with his wife and four children. He also enjoys working out and is an avid tennis and pickleball player. Dr. Yusupov welcomes anyone seeking improved oral health and a more balanced smile to Amazing Smiles Orthodontics today.
