A Merrimack Valley native, Dr. Daryl Silva, DPM was born and raised in Lowell, Massachusetts.
He studied Podiatry at Temple University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, one of the largest and most respected schools of Podiatric medicine and surgery in the country. He went on to complete his residency at a large nearby Level I trauma-center, Cooper University Hospital in Camden, New Jersey. Dr. Silva then had the honor of serving as Chief Resident his final year.
With his strong personal and familial ties to Massachusetts Dr. Silva endeavored to return to the area.
He is trained in conservative and surgical Podiatry with significant experience in forefoot, rearfoot, trauma surgery, and wound-care.
Dr. Silva has produced research on soft tissue tumors, post operative pain control in forefoot surgery, and a technique guide for complex rearfoot fusion accepted by the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons, American Podiatric Medical Association, and the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons respectively.

Brad Ciano, DPM, FACFAS, is the newest member of the Blackstone Valley Foot and Ankle family, joining in 2018. Dr. Ciano is a native Rhode Islander, growing up in North Providence.
He attended Merrimack College, graduating in 2003, and earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Sports Medicine with a focus in Athletic Training. Specializing in the evaluation and rehabilitation of sports related foot and ankle conditions, he has extensive experience utilizing custom orthotics. Dr. Ciano obtained his Doctor of Podiatric Medicine degree in 2011 from the New York College of Podiatric Medicine. He then completed his 3-year Podiatric Medicine and Surgery Residency at Roger Williams Medical Center, a program which emphasizes forefoot and rear foot reconstructive surgery, as well as diabetic wound care and limb salvage. There, he served as Chief Resident in his final year of training and completed over 1,500 surgical procedures.

Dr. Grondin grew up in Dartmouth, a small town in southeastern Massachusetts.
