Advantage Primary Care provides the highest quality one-on-one medical care in a welcoming environment in Richmond, Virginia. The team offers primary care services, including annual physicals, sick visits, and chronic disease management.
Advantage Primary Care is a private practice — not a large corporate entity. The team gets to know its patients, and the unhurried appointments allow everyone to feel comfortable with the care they receive.
The practice maintains the latest medical equipment in the office, including a convenient in-house lab for COVID-19, flu, strep, and other types of testing.
Advanced Primary Care also offers a full range of aesthetic services, including Botox®, dermal fillers, body contouring, and laser treatments for hair, tattoo, and skin lesion removal along with and skin rejuvenation and tightening.
The practice welcomes patients aged 14 and older, and they appreciate the opportunity to provide comprehensive primary care.

Best choice I've ever made in the way of top notch medical care. Dr Detrick is abreast of changes in the medical profession and he takes his time accessing your health issues and is very patient and understanding. His staff is welcoming and when I first contacted his office, I immediately got an appointment. I am so thrilled to finally find a private primary care Doctor and not have to deal with a group practice that mostly seems like a clinic atmosphere. At this practice you get professional as well as personable care. I highly recommend Dr Detrick for anyone looking for new primary care. Great office and great location.

Mr. James Derrick was incredible at his job. A great conversationalist, asked good questions about my health, very kind, drew my blood without any pain, and made my visit the most comfortable and least stressful doctors visit ever.
