Patrick McCulloch, MD, is an internationally recognized orthopedic surgeon and sports medicine specialist. As one of the preeminent surgeons in Houston, he treats many elite-level college and professional athletes, dancers, and those patients who desire the same high-quality, thoughtful, compassionate care. He is a long-time team physician or consultant for the Houston Astros, Rice University, Houston Ballet, Houston Rodeo, and the NASA Astronauts. He treats adolescent to adult patients at three offices within Houston, TX: Medical Center (Houston Methodist Outpatient Center), Bellaire (Pin Oak office), and Memorial (Spring Valley office).
He treats conditions and injuries of the shoulder, elbow and knee. He uses the latest biologic, arthroscopic and minimally-invasive techniques. He treats all shoulder problems from acute instabilities, rotator cuff tears, fractures, arthritis and shoulder replacement. He treats ligament and tendon injuries of the elbow, including Tommy John surgery. He performs all knee procedures (except knee replacements), including ligament reconstructions, such as ACL surgery, meniscus and cartilage problems, transplantation and cell therapies, and osteotomies.
