Mile High Eye Institute, located in Englewood, Colorado, is a specialty ophthalmology practice that provides expert eye care to individuals throughout the Denver-Metro Front Range communities. Board-certified ophthalmologists William Richheimer, MD, and Zachary Vest, MD, perform a wide and unique range of eye-care services.

Investment in state-of-the-art technology is key at Mile High Eye Institute, which offers a variety of laser-assisted procedures, such as laser in-situ keratomileusis (LASIK®) and photo refractive keratectomy (PRK) for individuals with nearsightedness, farsightedness, and astigmatism. These minimally invasive techniques can dramatically reduce or even eliminate the need for glasses and contact lenses.

Along with laser surgery, the practice performs the latest procedures to enhance eye health. Dr. Vest is a leading glaucoma specialist who treats even the most advanced closed-angle glaucoma cases. Meanwhile, Dr. Richheimer, a top corneal specialist, performs all types of corrective procedures, including cornea transplants and corneal cross linking (CXL).

Our Optometrists (Audrey Hudson, Madeline Graber and Lisa Reyes) provide an elevated care experience with detailed consultation prior to surgery. With the wide knowledge and passion for optimal eye and vision function our team takes each individual needs to create a personalized surgical plan.
