Pioneer GI Clinic provides exceptional care without exception for adults in and around Anchorage, Alaska. The board-certified gastroenterologists are experts in digestive and liver disease management.

The friendly office personnel answer every phone call, and the registered nurse on staff is available for nursing care and patient education.

The experienced physicians offer on-site testing services to diagnose unexplained abdominal pain, constipation, and diarrhea.

They use advanced technologies like upper endoscopy, endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography (ERCP), and capsule endoscopy to confirm conditions like Crohn’s disease, diverticulitis, ulcerative colitis, and irritable bowel syndrome.

Treatment plans are customized to manage gastrointestinal (GI) disorders and preserve a patient’s long-term GI health. The physicians take a multidisciplinary approach to care, educating patients about their best options, such as with medications, lifestyle changes, and dietary improvements.

Pioneer GI Clinic also provides Bravo™ pH monitoring services to evaluate symptoms of acid reflux and gastrointestinal reflux disease (GERD). The providers use medications and other therapies to treat symptoms of these diseases and prevent complications like Barrett’s esophagus.

Blood testing is offered in-office to check for hepatitis and other liver diseases, pancreatitis, and celiac disease. The physicians also specialize in physical and rectal exams to identify hemorrhoids.
