Practice statement

Scarbrough Family Eyecare, with two convenient locations in Beulah and Traverse City, Michigan, provides both excellent treatments for eye conditions and a full-service optical shop with a wide selection of glasses, sunglasses, and contact lenses.

The medical team at Scarbrough Family Eyecare, led by board-certified optometrist Edward Scarbrough, OD, takes the time to get to know every patient. In addition to conducting routine eye exams, they treat conditions such as glaucoma, cataracts, and macular degeneration, and are experienced in managing diabetic eye complications. As needed, they provide referrals to ophthalmologists and other specialists and work closely with other doctors.

For patients’ convenience, Scarbrough Family Eyecare has experienced opticians on staff and carries a selection of designer and specialty frames, as well as sunglasses and contact lenses, making it easy for patients to cover all their eye health needs. They provide the most accurate possible fit and measurements, high-tech lense-making, and personalized, face-to-face service, offerings that aren’t available online.
