MEET THE PLASTIC SURGEONS
Chelsea Snider, MD
Chelsea Snider, MD, is an experienced aesthetic plastic surgeon at Vida Bela Plastic Surgery. At her practice in Plano, Texas, she specializes in cosmetic surgery of the face, breast and body and serves the Dallas, Plano, Frisco and surrounding areas as well as many patients traveling from out of town. She approaches the patient as a whole and is passionate about restoring her patients to their most beautiful and natural self.
Dr. Snider grew up in Santa Barbara, California. After graduating from the University of Denver, she moved to the East Coast and earned her Doctor of Medicine at New York Medical College in Valhalla, New York. Afterward, she completed her residency in plastic and reconstructive surgery at the prestigious Institute for Plastic Surgery at Southern Illinois University in Springfield, Illinois. Dr. Snider completed the esteemed pediatric craniofacial fellowship at The Craniofacial Center in Dallas, Texas. In addition to her aesthetic practice, she continues to practice craniofacial surgery out of her Dallas clinic and Medical City Dallas Hospital.
Dr.Snider is member of Alpha Omega Alpha, an exclusive medical honor society, and has received many awards for academic excellence inresearch. In addition, she has given numerous presentations and been published in several peer-reviewed journals. She continues to stay up to date in the latest research and is actively involved in projects related to breast, facial anatomy, craniofacial anomalies, and neurofibromatosis.
Passionate about helping her patients live their best lives, Dr. Snider is proud to provide quality, personalized, and multidisciplinary care. Her extensive training and expertise allow her to give her patients natural, detailed, and beautiful results. As a female surgeon and mom of two, she has a passion for helping children, and for restoring confidence in her moms through mommy makeovers.
When she’s not at work, Dr. Snider enjoys yoga, hiking, surfing, skiing, and traveling. She is married to Dr. Guilherme Barreiro, and they have two young boys who keep them both on their toes and smiling. Dr. Snider also stays actively involved with mission work, using her love of craniofacial surgery to help children around the world.
Abby Culver, MD
Abby Culver, MD is a Board Certified Plastic Surgeon specializing in aesthetic plastic surgery of the face, breast and body. She focuses on connecting with her patients to bring them personalized, patient centered care, individualized surgical plans and natural results. Dr. Culver’s goal is to help you become the best version of your already beautiful self and to ensure your highest level of comfort, privacy and trust. She is located in Plano, Texas and serves the Dallas, Addison, Plano, Frisco, and surrounding areas locally. Dr. Culver and the team at Vida Bela Plastic Surgery also accommodate patients traveling for surgery. We assist with local accommodation recommendations as well as post operative care for our out of town patients.
Dr. Culver was born in Toronto, Canada and grew up in St. Louis, Missouri. She attended the University of Missouri for her undergraduate and medical degrees before matching into the rigorous six year integrated plastic surgery residency program at the prestigious UT Southwestern Plastic Surgery Department. While at UT Southwestern she trained under world experts in plastic surgery with a progressive autonomy training style. Following residency graduation Dr. Culver worked as faculty at UTSW before transitioning to private practice at Vida Bela Plastic Surgery. Dr. Culver is a member of Alpha Omega Alpha, an exclusive medical honor society. She has contributed to plastic surgery research and is well published especially in the areas of device-based skin rejuvenation and wound healing and scar optimization. She is dedicated to education and continues to participate in plastic surgery resident education.
As a woman, Dr. Culver is passionate about surgery of the breast and body to enhance and restore her patients’ bodies and confidence. She specializes in primary and revision breast lift and breast augmentation surgery, abdominal contouring and abdominoplasty, as well as mommy makeover surgeries which address the breast, abdomen, and possibly more depending on the patient’s goals.
Outside of work Dr. Culver loves hot yoga, neighborhood walks, and traveling as much as possible. She is a “foodie” and loves to try new restaurants and coffee shops locally and afar. Most of her time outside plastic surgery is spent with her husband, Matthew, and their daughter and son. They keep busy with “two under two” and enjoy the simple weekends home filled with dance parties, swimming lessons, playgrounds, friends and family.
