My primary care doctor deemed this to be chronic pain and recommended I go see Doctor Lopez at West Texas Pain Management for help. This was the best thing I have done. He did nerve ablation for my chronic pain on my knee. I am amazed at how much this has changed my quality of life. I highly recommend it and Dr Lopez at West Texas Pain Management. I have even had nerve ablation done on my lower back and I feel so much better. It is so much better than be on pain meds.

About the Practice

Double board-certified pain medicine specialist and anesthesiologist Raul Lopez, MD, offers customized care to patients struggling with chronic pain at West Texas Pain Institute in El Paso, Texas. Dr. Lopez provides a range of innovative treatments, including spinal cord stimulation, kyphoplasty, and regenerative medicine treatments to both relieve pain and resolve the underlying injuries or conditions that cause pain.

Dr. Lopez attended UT Austin for his undergraduate, and earned his medical degree at the Ohio State University College of Medicine in Columbus, Ohio. He went on to serve his anesthesiology residency at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center and completed rigorous fellowship training in interventional pain medicine, also at Cedars-Sinai.

Dr. Lopez works diligently to identify the root cause of a patient’s pain. His patient-focused approach helps him uncover all factors that contribute to a patient’s condition while providing care tailored to individual need. Dr. Lopez and his team treat patients like they’re part of the family and provide the same level of attention they would want their own family members to receive.
