I have been seeing Dr. Cohan since he started his career. I would not think of seeing anyone else. I now drive from Barrington to see him. He is kind, gentle, knowledgeable, thoughtful with an excellent bedside manner. Highest staShow morendards and spends appropriate time with each patient. He delivered both my girls and now they are teens!! I intend to set my girls up with him. Hes a wonderful person. I am a physician myself and I am truly honored to know him. Thank you so much!!!!

Adam K. Cohan, MD, is a board-certified obstetrics and gynecology specialist at Westmoreland Obstetrics and Gynecologic Associates, a leader in women’s health for more than two decades with offices on the North Shore of Lake Michigan in Lake Bluff and the Western suburb of Grayslake, Illinois. Dr. Cohan is highly skilled in many OB/GYN treatments, including minimally invasive surgery, such as laparoscopy and hysteroscopy.
Over the years he has gained a reputation in not only his excellence in patient care, but also for his kindness and compassion. He grew up in Highland Park, Illinois, and completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Illinois, where he graduated with honors. He continued his clinical training at Advocate Lutheran General Hospital in suburban Chicago where he completed a residency, graduating with honors. I have no complaints with Dr. Cohan and Westmoreland OBGYN. Excellent service from the front office all the way to the medical staff. This has been my doctor for about 6 years and I’m very appreciative of how they take care of me.
I feel extremely blessed to have Dr. Cohan as my OB/GYN. He is such a kind and compassionate person. He never rushes through my appointment or treats me as though I'm just a number. He truly cares about his patients and their families. And the care he provides is beyond exceptional. I am so thankful for Dr. Cohan and his professionalism.

Very professional and caring
This was my first appointment with Dr Cohan. He was very thorough with reviewing my history. Set up a great plan for how we’re going to approach my pregnancy. And he asked multiple times if there were questions he could answer or any concerns I had that I wanted to discuss.
Dr. Cohan and the staff are very nice and informative. I felt comfortable discussing uncomfortable concerns. I feel that I'm being heard. And that there is a plan in place to figure out my issues
