About Dr. Alevtina Edgar, DDS

Alevtina Edgar, DDS, is an experienced dentist at Central Avenue Dental in Valley Stream, New York, and the Tribeca area of Manhattan in New York City.

Dr. Edgar received her Doctor of Dental Surgery from the New York University College of Dentistry. She then pursued a general practice residency at Peninsula Hospital Center in Far Rockaway, followed by an internship at Jamaica Hospital Medical Center in Queens. 

While in private practice, Dr. Edgar continued to advance her education and is now certified in Invisalign® treatment as well as treatment of obstructive sleep apnea. She is an active member of the American Dental Association and the New York State Dental Association.

Having two small kids of her own, Dr. Edgar knows how to put the kids at ease and make their dental visits to Central Avenue Dental comfortable. Dr. Edgar is known for having a gentle touch and is always committed to providing the highest quality care to her patients.
