Audrey Alvarez, DPM, is a foot and ankle specialist providing patient-centered care to patients at Bay Area Foot Care’s locations in Castro Valley, San Leandro, and Pleasanton, California. She is board-certified by the American Board of Podiatric Medicine.
Dr. Alvarez is a proud native of the Bay Area and earned her Bachelor of Science in biology from the California State University, East Bay. She earned her doctorate at the California School of Podiatric Medicine in Oakland and completed her surgical residency training at the VA Puget Sound Health Care System in Seattle, Washington. Her love of her community brought her back to the Bay Area.
As a patient, you can expect to be greeted with a caring and professional attitude. Loved Dr. McNeil. Very upbeat and direct. My foot pain is still there, but she gave great strategies to reduce it. I think the front desk and techs are nice but may need more training or maybe the docs and techs need to develop strategies to work together more smoothly.
Dr. McNeil has taken ideal care of me from day one with an upbeat attitude and persistent dedication to relieving a long standing condition. 10/10 would recommend.

Always a pleasure to be under Dr. Jacka's care, and I particularly enjoy the paintings on the walls. I don't enjoy the old building where he is housed, which is difficult to enter without the doors closing on me, and I can't move fast enough to prevent being hit by them. Also, the toilet is broken in the office and the public bathroom is too far away to go upstairs.
Minimal wait time. Visit included all I required.
