Straight forward, direct, no nonsense presented professionally with friendliness and honesty. My first flair of rheumatoid arthritis over three months in my late 60's had me is such severe full body pain, I finally visited UCI EmeShow morergency. Then was referred to Dr. K and things got better. Literally after the first day on medication, my pain reduced by at least 50 percent. Now a week later I'm back to being almost pain free and feeling normal able to get back to my very active lifestyle. Dr. K is a true blessing and I'm thankful for having my life back! Dr. Khaleghi earned his medical degree at Shahid Beheshti University in Tehran, one of the most prestigious academic institutions in Iran. He went on to complete his internship and residency in internal medicine at St. Barnabas Hospital in the Bronx, New York. Then, he performed a rheumatology fellowship at Cooper University Hospital in Camden, New Jersey.
In addition to English, Dr. Khaleghi is fluent in Farsi. His special interests are adult rheumatic diseases, including arthritis, lupus, and osteoporosis. He’s invested in continuous learning and moving medicine forward.

Dr. Khaleghi consistently provides compassionate and trusted medical advice and provides clear explanations to my questions and concerns. I've been a patient of Dr. Khaleghi since 2017. He has always been open and honest with me, which I highly value. My only recommendation would be to increase the time between patient appointments to avoid creating delays to seeing patients. It communicates that you value your patients' time.
