Dr. Charles Goldsmith, known as Dr. G to his patients, is an OB/GYN with over 30 years of professional experience. He’s the founder of Dr. G’s Weight Loss & Wellness, with locations throughout Florida, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, and Delaware, as well as two international offices.
After graduating from Temple University in 1973, Dr. G earned his medical degree from Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia. He holds board certification in obstetrics & gynecology.
Early in his career as an obstetrician, Dr. G noticed that many of his patients were troubled by their weight and consistently asked for advice on weight loss. Unimpressed with the weight loss programs available to the public, Dr. G decided to create his own medically supervised weight loss program backed by his years of medical experience.
Dr. G launched his program in 1994, and shortly after that the “Dr. G’s Weight Loss & Wellness Program” became an international success.
Dr. G continues to help patients around the world and has opened nearly 20 treatment locations across the United States and abroad. His belief that the battle against obesity needs to be fought under a doctor’s supervision and his comprehensive approach to weight loss has brought over 70,000 customers to his doors, for a total of more than 1,000,000 pounds lost.
