About Dr. Chris Kennedy, MD
Chris Kennedy, MD, provides expert cardiology care to patients at Trident Cardiology Associates, PA, with locations in Ladson, Walterboro, and Moncks Corner, South Carolina.
Dr. Kennedy grew up in North Charleston and remained in the area, graduating from the College of Charleston with a Bachelor of Science in 1988. He attended the University of South Carolina and graduated with a Doctorate of Medicine in 1992. He then went on to complete an internship and residency in Internal Medicine at the University of Kansas. Dr. Kennedy rounded out his medical training by following his passion for cardiology to Jacksonville, Florida where he completed a fellowship in cardiology.
In July 1999, he joined Trident Cardiology Associates, PA, and is board certified in Cardiovascular Diseases and Interventional Cardiology. Dr. Kennedy is a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology.
In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his family, hiking the mountains, and running.
