Christian Barnes, MD, is a board-certified otolaryngologist and fellowship-trained Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeon, providing cosmetic enhancements and functional reconstruction specializing in the face, nose, ears, head, and neck. s Dr. Barnes practices at Facial Plastics Center at ENT of Athens in Athens, Georgia.
Dr. Barnes earned his undergraduate degree in physics from the University of Mississippi in Oxford. Following graduation, he received a full academic scholarship to the University of Mississippi School of Medicine. Dr. Barnes excelled in the program, earned his medical degree, and graduated with distinction as a research scholar.
Following medical school, Dr. Barnes moved west and completed residency training at the University of California at Irvine. There, he developed an interest in facial plastic surgery and gained invaluable experience in all facets of facial cosmetic and reconstructive surgery.
After the end of his five-year residency, Dr. Barnes relocated to San Francisco and completed additional training in facial plastic and reconstructive surgery. He earned the title of accredited fellow, specializing in nasal surgery and facial aging.
Dr. Barnes has special interests in non-surgical cosmetic procedures, cosmetic surgery, nasal surgery, and reconstruction of the head and neck. He loves helping his patients achieve their cosmetic goals and improved health by developing individualized treatment plans.
Outside of work, Dr. Barnes is active in the Athens community. He loves spending time with his wife, Kathleen, and son in addition to traveling, photography, and spending time outdoors.

Very efficient Was in actually early and saw the doctor within minutes of getting to the room.
