About Claire Droll, CNM

Claire Droll, CNM, is a certified nurse-midwife at Nile Women’s Health Care in Roswell and Suwanee, Georgia. As a member of the Nile family, Claire will be a Roswell midwife providing comprehensive care to OB/GYN, antepartum, intrapartum, and postpartum clients in the Alpharetta and Roswell offices.

Before receiving her degree in midwifery from Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia, Claire worked as a labor and delivery nurse at the Atlanta Birth Center. She also served as a volunteer birth doula and earned a Master’s in Public Health from Columbia University in New York City, New York.

Claire is board certified by the American Midwifery Certification Board (AMCB). She is also a member of the American College of Nurse-Midwives (ACNM) and the Association of Women’s Health, Obstetric and Neonatal Nurses (AWHONN).

While Claire has generally spent much of her professional career advocating for improved women’s services in other countries, she will spend time focusing on lactation and breastfeeding assistance in Alpharetta. As a midwife, Claire will deliver at Wellstar North Fulton Hospital.

She has spent years as a health advocate for women in Kenya, Ecuador, Congo, and Uganda. Now based in Roswell, Georgia, she continues to lobby for women here at home.

Claire believes that every woman deserves to welcome her child into the world in a safe, compassionate, and nurturing way. She is honored to help make that a reality for families at Nile Women’s Health Care every day.

When she’s not working, Claire loves spending time with her husband and child. They hang out at the dog park with their spunky pup Pundit. Claire tends to a year-round vegetable garden and she enjoys rock climbing with her husband.
