Daniel Bandari, MD, is the medical director and founder of the Multiple Sclerosis Center of California in Laguna Hills, California. Dr. Bandari completed his residency in neurology at Kaiser Permanente Medical Center in Los Angeles, California, where he served as chief resident and was the recipient of the Leo Munoz Outstanding Neurology Resident Award.
He did his fellowship training in neuroimmunology and MS at the University of Southern California (USC) in Los Angeles through a fellowship award from Harvard University Medical School and Brigham & Women’s Hospital. Dr. Bandari then joined the faculty at USC in 2004.
During his tenure at USC, Dr. Bandari served as associate director and then director of the MS clinic before opening the Multiple Sclerosis Center of California in 2008.
He’s a clinical assistant professor of neurology and neuroimmunology and the previous director of the MS center at the USC, Keck School of Medicine. He’s also a lecturer and educator at the local, national, and international levels.
Dr. Bandari has over 18 years of experience as a clinician and researcher in MS and has numerous scientific publications. He’s also the recipient of the “Patient’s Choice Award” and “Most Compassionate Doctor Award.” He’s recognized as one of the top neurologists in the country.
