About Dr. David Bank, MD

David E. Bank, MD, FAAD, is a skilled cosmetic dermatologist at The Center for Dermatology Cosmetic & Laser Surgery in Mount Kisco, New York. 

A native of New York, Dr. Bank grew up in Manhattan and Scarsdale. Today, as a nationally recognized, board-certified dermatologist in Westchester County, Dr. Bank is both founder and director of The Center for Dermatology Cosmetic & Laser Surgery. 

Throughout his career, he has remained a leader in the field of medical and cosmetic dermatology through a variety of roles, including principal investigator for numerous clinical trials, published researcher, and advisor for Allergan and several national magazines.

Dr. Bank began his education by earning a Bachelor of Arts in philosophy at Yale University, where he graduated cum laude. He went on to earn a medical degree at Columbia University's College of Physicians and Surgeons. 

Dr. Bank's rigorous training included an internship in internal medicine at Montefiore Hospital and Medical Center and a 3-year residency in dermatology at Columbia-Presbyterian Hospital and Medical Center.

Through dedication to the field of dermatology, Dr. Bank has earned many distinctions, including being certified by the American Board of Dermatology, a fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology, and a founding member of the Amonette Circle of the Skin Cancer Foundation.

Early in his career, Dr. Bank became involved in FDA clinical trials testing medical and cosmetic treatments and products for the skin, hair, and nails. To this day, he considers it an honor to be the principal investigator for clinical trials. Dr. Bank has been involved in the testing of BOTOX® Cosmetic, JUVÉDERM®, Restylane®, treatments for precancerous lesions and psoriasis, and many other advances.

In this role, he gains first-hand knowledge of new treatments and medications as they are being developed. His in-depth knowledge acquired from the studies enables him to offer his patients only the options that are deemed safe, effective, and scientifically based.
