Dr. Mcgee is hands down the best doctor I’ve ever had. I was not an easy patient for a number of reasons- the most significant reason being I’m deathly anxious of pelvic exams or anything that has to do with internal exams or checShow moreks (which is difficult To avoid if you’re going to the ob/gyn!). Dr. Mcgee single handedly got me through nine months of pregnancy and a very wonderful, peaceful and empowering vaginal delivery. I seriously never thought I could do it given my anxiety issues but she was amazing at every turn. Honestly I owe my beautiful son to her. She is very professional and quite intellectual- she explains risks and benefits really clearly and is just a master at her field. Honestly I wish her so many blessings and goodness and abundance in her life because she gave me my biggest joy and blessing.
I am pregnant with my fifth child and have had three different doctors with my first four. Now moving to a new city, I am no stranger to OB/GYN offices and finding a new doctor yet again. This practice, the doctors, ultrasound sonShow moreographers, technicians, and other staff have been overall the best experience I have had. All are excellent at what they do, incredibly attentive and happy, and make you feel well cared for in every aspect a patient needs. They feel as much like friends as hey do medical professionals. I don't know how they accomplish such a balance, but they really do get a full five stars!
Dawn McGee, MD, offers comprehensive healthcare to women in The Loop in Chicago, Illinois, at The Association for Women’s Health Care. She is particularly focused on screening and treating abnormal bleeding, abnormal PAP smears, and sexually-transmitted diseases. Dr. McGee offers women her expert support during adolescence, pregnancy, and menopause. Dr. McGee has been my gyne doctor for many years. I appreciate that she seems genuinely interested in what I have to tell her about my health. While I know not all doctors have the luxury of doing so, she LISTENS. She has highlighted potential problems, as well as responded to my concerns; her recommended solutions usually worked. She knows what she's doing without being arrogant, and I trust her. Enough said!
Dr. McGee always takes the time to listen and learn. It is a genuine partnership that focuses on my health, centering my experience as important to understanding what's going on. This is as it should be in health care, but often rare. She is fantastic.
Dr McGee is rare in my eyes. She’s personable and takes extra time to get to know you and get a sense of your life, perhaps to ascertain wellness from both mental and physical tendencies without asking you a checklist of the usual medical questions. She is always knowledgeable, experienced, efficient, on time, and managed procedures I have had in the past with excellent quality care, clear explanations, answers all your questions, great bedside manner and reassurance every step of the way so you feel well supported. Dr McGee is an incredible gynecologist & have been a patient at the office since late 1970's, Dr McGee being only my 3rd doctor 8n the practice when the prior 2 retired. She is extremely thorough, very patient, answers & explains any concerns. Always returns all phone inquiries within a day. And lastly, very compassionate and concerned in patient's life issues that may be also playing a part in gynecological health. She is truly a very special physician & person.

Doctor McGee is the most caring doctor I have ever experienced.Always takes time to answer all your question during appoitment , honestly she makes you feel like your were friends forever. Very easy to talk to and very professional. When I was diagnosed with breast cancer early this year she kept in touch with me through out my entire treatment process . She called me numerous time asking how was I doing , answering my questions and concerns.It made me feel like I am well taken cared of and that Iam in good hands.I feel very blessed having her as my OB doctor.
