I’m filling out the survey for Tori because I was there at the time of her doctor visit. She was very confused when she came out of the room after speaking to the doctor. There was a mixup at the front desk with insurance coverageShow more or not but the back office try their best to find out at the time. I went home after the office visit to find out after calling the insurance company that we didn’t have insurance, which I was very positive that we did. Not sure what happened but I’m sure thing. I asked Tori if she was asked to do bloodwork and she said yes, but she denied it. I tried my best to have her return to have the blood work because she had already paid for her office visit. Tori was very frustrated at the time because she didn’t understand what the doctor was explaining to her during her visit and did not understand the whole process on what she needed to do to find out the answers were there she was able to conceive in the future, and because of the insurance mixup, she refused to have the blood work thinking it was going cost her money that she did not have especially since she just paid $250 for the office visit. A lot of this was her fault because she is so young and she doesn’t know how to ask questions when it comes to medical procedures prior to having them done. I hope that she has another opportunity to come in to have the blood work done without having to pay another office visit because of this insurance mixup. I feel like they could’ve talk to a live person at the time of her visit at least the insurance if she would’ve been resolved. If there’s anyway that she can return to the office to have the bloodwork done, I would love for someone to contact me at 678-650-7676 so I can explain it to her and seven she can get the answers that she was looking for on this initial visit. If not, I totally understand and that will just have to be a life lesson for her. I want to thank the front office as well as the back office for going back-and-forth from the front to the back to help tori while she was there to try to resolve the Insurance issue. The girls did their best to explain everything to Tori that because of her frustration she just wasn’t understanding any of it because she’s so young and learning the concept of paying bills on her own. I feel that that was the main contributing factor to her frustration. I love coming to this office and I did not want her survey to reflect portly for the doctor, that she normally does not see so that’s why I filled it out for her. I’ll make sure in the future that you have her phone number on file to send any future surveys directly to her. If she has not done it already, I would like for her to fill out new paperwork so she can just be responsible for all bills that are mailed to the house especially since she is 18 years of age and is responsible for all her medical expenses especially since she’s making appointments without consulting us. Due to her age, she has that right but she needs to understand that she has to pay for all medical expenses on her own, and we will make sure that she understands that. The only reason I ask for this request is because I filled out the paperwork for her when she first started coming to your office and because this is a new year hopefully you guys had had her fill out her own paperwork while she was there for this visit if not when she comes in for bloodwork on her next visit, please make sure that she does, because I am no longer responsible to pay for her medical bills. I will reach out to the office today on this concern. Please thank the staff for me for all their help in this matter. The whole staff that was involved were extremely professional and very helpful to me and I so much appreciate it !!!!!! Thank you again, Adaline Tapley.
I was satisfied with Dr. Harris’ response to my crisis. I asked the aid who got me checked in if I could have some water as I was very upset and she said they didn’t have any. Then when she was asking me sensitive questions (date Show moreof last period and how many miscarriages I’d had) I would answer and she would challenge me. Then she would offer her corrected answer which was the same that I had previously stated. Also, Dr. Harris was examining me at length which was painful and I did not know what she was doing. I wish she would have informed me. Another suggestion is that when a patient is having a miscarriage and is very emotional, there should be a private room she could wait it. I was sitting in the waiting rooms hysterical with all of these pregnant woman, which wasn’t good for me or them. Lastly, I have been in so much pain over the weekend with this miscarriage and have no pain medication.

Dr.Thomas is A very compassionate Doctor she listen to her patients then she gives you advice on what to do and she also read over things in your medical records to see if anything has changed doing your last visit including medication.
The staff was very friendly and Dr Susan Thomas was amazing. She made me feel very comfortable. A patient before me had an issue which caused my wait time to increase to an hour but other than that, I think I found a new home.
