Diana is an amazing midwife!!! She has delivered two of my babies and possibly more in the future. She's very experienced, knowledgeable, and down to earth. I've never had a physician that I've ever bonded with until now. DuringShow more delivery, she was able to comfort me in the best way that she possibly could. There was many times I didn't think I could go on any longer with the pain, and she talked me through it convincing me I could, and I did! I could go on and on about how amazing she really is! I highly recommend her!! A lot of the other staff there are just as great! You will never want to go anywhere else again!!!
I came in for an IUD insertion and was pretty wound up after reading some horror stories online. I loved that my boyfriend was allowed to be in the room with me from start to finish. Alisa made me (and my partner) feel at ease forShow more the whole visit, she even cracked some jokes and lightened the mood. The insertion went off without a hitch and I felt very well cared for. The office is beautiful and staff are so patient and helpful. I never once felt rushed, which unfortunately is a rarity these days in the medical world. Highly recommend!! Thank you to all the staff.
Diana Buckwalter, FNP, CNM, is a certified nurse midwife at Cherry Hills Midwifery, Obstetrics, & Gynecology in Englewood, Colorado. She has been a women's health provider for 30 years.
Diana has spent her career encouraging, educating, and empowering women. She has delivered so many babies. She spent many years in private practice before expanding into project management, building birth centers. She has been involved with rewriting legislation regarding the standards of care for birth centers in Colorado. She has been a pioneer in her field, bringing midwifery to the hospital setting to offer women more choices in childbirth.
Diana most recently worked internationally as part of a team opening a new hospital in Qatar. She worked with women and coworkers from 86 countries. This experience was a unique opportunity to broaden her horizons and be exposed to many different cultures that are rare in the USA. She worked with a large Muslim population and learned that women are the same all over the world. She loved working with nurses from the Philippines and India.
Diana has worked with women of all ages. She enjoys the exuberance of youth and the wisdom of aging. She can discuss contraception, pregnancy, menopause, sexual concerns, or just an annual exam.
She is married with seven children and 29 grandchildren. This affords her a unique and empathetic approach to the women she cares for. Diana has traveled all over the world, enjoys seeing new places, and loves spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren!

Quick and painless!
Diana along with the rest of the Cherry Hills staff have been nothing but fantastic during my pregnancy. Diana was so incredibly helpful throughout the pregnancy at every visit and exceeded any expectations we had during labor ensuring I was able to have the labor I envisioned while making sure both baby and I were happy and healthy!
