The reviews I read prior to coming into the Clinic exceeded my expectations. Being a resident of Oak Cliff for 47 years and moving away for a few years and recently returning to Oak Cliff; this Clinic is very much needed in our coShow moremmunity. The nurses are very professional and I can tell they love their profession and their place of employment. It was pleasure to be seen by Dr. Edwards, he didn't rush and addressed all my concerns. I even asked the nurse if he was a PCP because I would most definitely switch providers. I will however be changing my choice of clinic to Marsalis Avenue from the one in Arlington. The clinic was clean, modern and located 3-5 minutes from my home. I want to tell my friends and family but I also want to keep them to myself, lol!
So it close to the holidays and I need to see a doctor and everyone wasn’t accepting walk in and didn’t have appointments till Thursday of next week. My emergency clinic recommended me to come here and thankfully they were open aShow morend accepting walking when I called in. I was so happy how they answer their phone systems she was so nice and gave me the information I needed. Once I walk in the doctors office it was so welcoming and clean the nurses were so nice and actually would talk to you. Once I went in the room it was so clean doctor was so nice and helpful and also made great conversation. I love it probably will make it my primary doctor clinic. Highly recommended. Nurses are so nice and sweet.
Dralves Edwards, DO, is a doctor of osteopathy, bringing more than 35 years of experience in urgent care medicine to the Marsalis Avenue Urgent Care Clinic, serving patients 13 years old and up.
Dr. Edwards earned his undergraduate degree from North Texas State University in Denton, Texas. He subsequently enrolled at the Texas College of Osteopathic Medicine in Fort Worth, Texas earning his medical degree. Before entering private practice, Dr. Edwards completed an internship at Ohio Health Doctors Hospital in Columbus, Ohio.
Over the course of his career, Dr. Edwards has served in various positions, including medical director and primary care physician. He has owned and operated his own practice providing family and sports medical care. His friendly demeanor and bedside manners along with his ability to solve even the most complex issues makes him a favorite of patients and colleagues alike.
Outside of work, Dr. Edwards is active in the community. He also enjoys philanthropy, regularly contributing to the community organizations, and he is working on his first book. It is very convenient to have a Urgent care facility in our area, the doctor is a good listener and concerned about what was going on with me,. The facility is clean and the nurses are very friendly. Dr. Edwards is great! From the moment we (my son and I) walked in we felt welcomed. He and is his staff are very professional and knowledgeable in their skill. I will be returning for my primary and urgent care needs! They are open on Sundays! A+ Marsalis Urgent Care! God Bless you all!
