Evan Lenertz, DPM, is a board-qualified foot and ankle surgeon at Platte River Foot and Ankle Surgeons, which has locations throughout Nebraska. He grew up in Lincoln, where he graduated from the University of Nebraska, Lincoln, with a dual major in biology and microbiology.
Dr. Lenertz received his Doctorate of Podiatric Medicine and Surgery from Des Moines, University. Upon graduation, he completed his residency at St. Mary Mercy and St. Joseph Hospitals outside of Detroit, Michigan. There, he was elected Chief Resident by his peers and attending physicians.
After residency, Dr. Lenertz became one of very few physicians to complete a year-long fellowship in advanced reconstructive foot and ankle surgery.
In his free time, Dr. Lenertz enjoys spending time with his family, including his wife, daughter, and family dog; playing video games; exercising; and watching sports.
