Dr. Carasali was great. I really appreciated how thorough he was with checking Estelline. He took the time to explain the diagnosis and how to help her through her illness. His Nurses were great as well. They helped with my daughtShow moreer keeping her entertained while getting vitals and during her breathing treatment. The only UNPLEASANT part of my visit was the front desk pediatric receptionist. I capitalize unpleasant because it really was a life-changing experience for me. I was completely ignored while standing in line and I have never felt so invisible in my 30 years of life. I was the only patient in line and when another lady with a baby walked up behind me, &&was acknowledged before I was. I hope this is reviewed by managerial staff and talked to with the staff and change happens. When I was waved forward by the receptionist in training, the first thing I said was how rude it was to be skipped. The main receptionist THEN (while with the patient she called forward to help) decided to acknowledge me & kept trying to make excuses for why I wasn't acknowledged in the first place. The reasons were, "we knew you were coming from the front (walk-in visit), you were already checked in, we thought you were with those two (pointing to my daughter and mother who were sitting down)". The point is, I was in line. My daughter and mother were sitting waiting for me to check-in. It would have been easy to take my slip and let me know that I was checked in and we would get called back as soon as the nurses and doctor were ready for us. After we got roomed, I asked the Nurse what to do with my slip and she even said "they were supposed to take that at the front desk (pediatrics)" This had to be one of the most disturbing experiences I've had in years. This experience honestly made me cry, and my daughter and mother had to witness it all. Thankfully my daughter (one) isn't old enough to understand, but I hope she never has to experience such awful customer service. I personally don't know the reason behind the rudeness, but it shouldn't be happening anyplace, especially in a setting where we already don't feel the best (sickness, exhaustion, etc.), and a place that should be professional.
Dr. Bigsby and the staff were wonderful. Whoever was responsible for implementing the new system failed. I had an appointment on the calendar since July 25, but realized yesterday morning that I had not gotten a reminder like mostShow more providers send, so I called to confirm and was told that my data had not tranferred from the old system, but they could still accommodate me at a slightly later time. Then I had to wait over an hour in the lobby before I could be seen. I want to stress that in every interaction, the staff on the phone and in person were pleasant and professional and would earn 5 stars. I hope in the future the support staff who manage systems and data will do a better job making the experience for the providers and patients easier. I say this as someone who works in a hospital in a technical support role and prides myself in trying to make it easy for my clinician colleagues to provide excellent service to our patients, so I know it is hard sometimes.

At least 1/2-hour wait past appointment time to see doc.
Welcomed and checked in. After short wait nurse took vitals, checked meds list, etc. Dr. Bigsby was very caring listening to my concerns and asked questions to help solve my problems.
Dr. Bigsby was very kind and listened to what I had to me. She was very understanding and I felt like she actually cared about all of my health issues. A wonderful, caring doctor.

Quiet, relaxed and comfortable setting. Dr. Bigsby listened, answered my questions and concerns about my visit, and gave me time for reflection. Her nurse was friendly and helped me relax in anticipation for my exam.

I am very happy with the doctor but frustrated with the online system. It’s always a mess when you update, can’t check in etc. Why can’t you update the clinic it’s shabby spend some money on the carpet, chairs (Too low) In the exam room. Stairs are scary…come on.
