Had a wonderful experience at Tukwila Dental Smiles with Ms. Kieu and Dr. Harrison! Ms. Kieu gave me probably the most thorough cleaning I’ve ever had and walked me through X-rays and brushing tips, and Dr. Harrison was available Show morefor a new patient consult and to help set me up for a night guard. They were the nicest people as well, along with the rest of the team in the office that all helped with my visit. Definitely recommended!

Dr. Harrison Wamai has over 20 years of restorative and cosmetic experience and is currently serving patients in Tukwila, Washington as well as surrounding cities in the greater king county area including Kent, Renton, and Burien.
Dr. Wamai began his professional pursuits at the University of Nairobi in Kenya, earning his undergraduate degree in Dental Surgery. Following graduation, Dr. Wamai began his career working with a non-profit dental clinic and the Ministry of Health prior to opening his private practice, Tabasamu Dental.
In 2016, Dr. Wamai moved to the states and enrolled in dental school at the University of Colorado where he earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree. He has worked at various private practices with a focus on restorative and emergency dental care prior to opening his office in Tukwila where he also focuses on patient education, treating malalignment with clear orthodontic aligners, and an array of cosmetic procedures.
Dr. Wamai proudly holds memberships in several professional organizations including the South King County Dental Association, the Washington State Dental Association, the American Dental Association, and the Kenya Dental Association. He also serves as a reserve officer with the United States Army.
When not caring for patients or expanding his professional skills, Dr. Wamai enjoys spending time with his wife, Linnet, and his twin children, Zola and Pheonix. They love spending time outdoors, traveling, and attending Pheonix’s soccer games.

Great experience, cleaning was thorough and painless
As much as I dislike going to the dentist, I appreciated everything that Ms. Vuong did while cleaning my teeth. The toothpaste (Nu Skin AP24), that I purchased is amazing. This was the first time I didn't need any topical numbing or anything. I was very impressed! We had great conversation and laughs too, which made it even more pleasant.

Some up in excruciating pain on tooth #19 (molar). I called at 9am and they squeezed me in. I was in the chair by 10am. I was seen, diagnosed, given RX and referred to a specialist. Who also got me in as an emergency appt. By 2pm same day I have my full root canal and left knowing tomorrow would be a better day!
My overall experience was pleasant I walked in right at my appointment was scheduled so they sat me down pretty quickly and then we got right to it. Introductions were made the doctor evaluated my teeth and their current condition and after the cleaning was over had some recommendations at the end overall the appointment was about 40 minutes
