I called Dr. Tseng’s office on a Friday noon by chance to see what earliest date they could take me in for an infected ingrown toenail. The front desk lady was very helpful and informed me that someone actually cancelled a 3:30pm Show moreappointment the same day so I was able to get an appointment without even asking me what my problem was. I got there on time for my appointment and the same lady took me in for my infos and briefly screened me what my concern was. The moment Dr. Tseng walked in, I already felt comfortable and at ease as he has that friendly aura in him, not to mention him being so soft spoken. Dr. Tseng was very informative, talking me through the surgery, and he did it very fast without any pain! I was very pleased with my experience and started raving about his practice to my friends and co-worker. I also recommended him to my boyfriend who is also having some foot problems. I’m glad I found Dr. Tseng (thanks to Yelp)! He is probably my favorite doctor to date!
I’ve been a patient of Dr.Tseng for years! Before me, he was my brother and father-in-laws doctor for many years before that! I’ve seen him for multiple problems and injuries and he has always been very patient in treating every one of them. I have a great respect for him in the way I see him treat his other patients. The Chinese culture is very similar to my own. My family originates from the island of Samoa. We treat our elders with love, admiration and respect. I am always impressed in the way he treats and respects his elder patients, who I’ve come to see many over the years that I’ve been a patient. He bows with respect and has such a soft tone as he speaks makes everyone he meets comfortable. I’ve moved to Upland,Ca which is about 45 minutes away but I will continue to see Dr.Tseng.

Following his undergraduate studies, Dr. Tseng earned his Doctor of Podiatric Medicine from the California School of Podiatric Medicine at Samuel Merritt University in Oakland, California. After completing a rigorous internship and foot and ankle surgical residency, Dr. Tseng went on to become board certified through the American Board of Multiple Specialties in Podiatry.
Dr. Tseng has received additional training in medical acupuncture and specializes in combining Eastern and Western medicine to give each patient the best podiatric treatment possible. In most cases, Dr. Tseng tries all conservative treatment methods first before discussing surgery.
Because of his expertise in alternative medicine, Dr. Tseng treats the patient as a whole, providing natural treatment methods, such as herbal medicine and acupuncture, over harmful pain pills and cortisone shots. When he’s away from the clinic, Dr. Tseng takes annual trips to Mexico with his church to care for underserved populations suffering from foot deformities. Dr. Tseng also regularly visits Asia and Africa to care for patients in need of medical attention. He spends extensive time lecturing in major hospitals throughout Asia and China, teaching other foot surgeons how to perform lower extremity surgeries.
