Dr Gish was informative, supportive and courteous. He works quickly but always takes the time to listen and respond to my inquiries. Also noteworthy and important to me, the entire staff, Dr Gish, PA Moore, the Anethesiologist andShow more all of the nursing staff from the front of the office to the back are the most efficient, caring, quick and compassionate medical office I've ever experienced. They treat me well. I feel like my concerns and symptoms are always addressed in a manner that is specific to me. My pain and discomfort are never minimalised. I'm never treated as if I don't know what I'm talking about. And I never feel as if medication is being "marketed" to me. I feel my illness is treated responsibly and compassionately. I have illnesses that cannot be seen on the outside and I cannot count the times in which I've felt like my report, my voiced discomfort is just over-looked or written off as if I'm not capable of knowing my own pain. In over more than a year of going to Lexington Commonwealth Pain and Spine I have never been made to feel as if my pain, my illnesses are not real or don't matter. I wish I could say that I've had this experience with all of the doctors and specialists that I've ever had to visit over my health but I can't. There have been but few exceptions and Commonwealth P&S is one of them.
The nurses that took care of me yesterday were excellent and they were also very kind and caring. This is the second injection that I have received from Dr. Gish and the first injection that I received, immediately relieveShow mored the agony I had been in due to a pinched nerve in my lower back. It’s still a little early for me to give you the exact results of the injection I received from him yesterday because the actual relief does not happen for 3 to 5 days after the injection but I am very hopeful that this injection will alleviate my pain, due to the pinched nerve the same way that the first one did. I have suffered from adult onset scoliosis for the last 18 years and I actually underwent a 12 1/2 hour back fusion at North Western Hospital in Chicago,Illinois 11 years ago but before my surgery, I probably received injections in my back from four or five different doctors but none of them had the desired affect, like the injection that I received from Dr. Gish for the pinched nerve in my lower back.He is obviously very skilled, when it comes to reading MRI results and pinpointing the exact location of your problem and then hitting the mark when he gives you your injection. Dr. Brandon Gish, is a very kind and caring position and I highly recommend him to anyone who suffers from chronic back pain.
