I didn't like filling out the forms that were redundant for "the new year ". I was taken to the exam room by a woman I have never seen before. I have had surgery by Dr. Tilton and many office visits . The woman took me into the rShow moreoom and asked "Have you seen Dr. Tilton before?" followed by ""why are you here to see Dr. Tilton?" I walk with a walker and have orthopedic difficulties. She told me "take off your shoe and sit in the exam chair. " Ii told her I couldn't take my shoe off and have difficulties swinging my leg on the table. She took my leg and forced it on the table causing me pain. I had a good visit with Dr. Tilton, but the experience filling out forms and the woman that took me to the exam room rate 1 star. The forms were not available online to be completed before the visit.
This is regarding lapiplasy as well as other corrective procedures done during surgery. Even though Dr. Tilton could be a little better at explaining what he did during surgery, like going over the x-rays with the patient and poinShow moreting out what he sees as going well or not, as well as being more clear about what to do or not do during recovery, I have felt well cared for. I relied mostly on my own common sense and just worry about those who don't seem to possess that trait.

Dr. Tilton graduated from the Las Vegas Academy in 1997 with an emphasis in music. He attended Brigham Young University, graduating with a BA in Japanese and a minor in music. He received his medical education at the College of Podiatric Medicine and Surgery at Des Moines University in a specialized curriculum with the first two years alongside the DO candidates.
After graduation, he completed a three-year surgical residency at St. Luke’s University Health Network in Allentown, Pennsylvania. There he had comprehensive clinical, surgical, and hospital training. Among other surgical treatments, his training includes bunion and hammertoe repairs, treatment of heel pain, fracture management, nerve decompression, wound care, ankle stabilization, ankle arthroscopy, treatment of diabetic foot infections, flatfoot reconstruction, and Charcot reconstruction. In addition to his standard training, he worked with plastic surgeons to learn skin grafting and local skin plasty techniques for the foot and ankle. Dr. Tilton is Board Certified by the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons.
Apart from his medical practice, he is an accomplished jazz bassist, having played professionally during and after college. He is an avid reader and enjoys cooking, gardening, watching movies, and, most of all, spending time with his wife and four children.

Dr. Tilton was absolutely fabulous. He explained everything in detail. The surgery went smoothly and the recovery was better than advertised! I can’t say enough about how wonderful Dr. Tilton and his entire staff are. They are all friendly, pleasant, efficient and helpful. I recommend the entire practice very highly.
Dr. Tilton was excellent. Helped cure my foot, actually both feet, when all other attempts failed. Very knowledgeable and sincere. I would recommend him highly.
It took over a year to get the appointment because nobody would return my calls. Then when I got them, they did not give me the doctor I requested, so I had to reschedule. Once I got in, the doctor and staff was very perfessional.

This was my first visit and I found the front office staff to be courteous, efficient & responsive. Dr. Tilton was also courteous, punctual, professional. He listens actively, responds intelligently, offers proactive solutions & advice.
Dr. Tilton is always courteous, competent and always makes his patients feel confident and relaxed. He fully addressing every question regarding your condition and explores various options when called for and is never rushed during an office visit. His staff is also quite cordial and helpful when scheduling or should you require a non-scheduled appointment.

My experience with Dr. Tilton & his staff are exceptional! Dr. Tilton is very patient and shows genuine care. There was never a moment during my appointments where I felt rushed or felt I wasn’t being heard. His assistant Karen is very sweet & kind, always greets with a smile. Office Admin, Ana & the Front Desk staff are just as great! Now a days you don’t get this kind of experience at doctors offices. Thank you Dr. Tilton & staff!
