Honestly, I truly believe that Dr Roldán is an absolute amazing Doctor in this field. His bedside manner are incredible. It’s very important to locate your own Doctor to help you with your health issues. About Dr. Roldan
Jose Roldan, MD, MS, is an expert rheumatologist at Arthritis Associates in San Antonio, Texas. He is board-certified in internal medicine and rheumatology.
Dr. Roldan earned his medical degree from the Institute of Health Sciences in Medellin, Colombia, and a Master of Science in clinical investigation at the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio. He completed an internal medicine residency and rheumatology fellowship at the University of Texas Health Science Center (UTHSC) in San Antonio.
Prior to joining Arthritis Associates, Dr. Roldan was a clinical instructor and associate professor of rheumatology at UTHSC in San Antonio. While at UTHSC, he created and directed the lupus and vasculitis clinics. He was also a staff rheumatologist at San Antonio Audie L. Murphy Memorial VA Hospital in Texas.
Dr. Roldan maintains his medical credentials to stay up to date with the latest advances in internal medicine and rheumatology. He is a member of the Bexar County Medical Society, Texas Medical Society, and American College of Rheumatology.
Dr. Roldan compassionately cares for patients ages 12 and older and welcomes them to Arthritis Associates.

For years my ankles were swollen and I was in constant pain. When Dr Roldan examined me, he diagnosed me immediately and provided clear explanation. Lab work and x-rays ( 1-stop facility) all in the same building. Caring and compassionate.
Dr. Roldan is not only an expert at what he does, but he does it with the utmost care, patience and transparency. I trust him implicitly and know he has carefully considered my symptoms, condition and how it has evolved when he makes recommendations. He cares so much that when I’ve had emergencies he fits me in to his schedule and has even called to provide recommendations while he is out of office. I cannot recommend him enough.
