Partners In Wellness

Partners In Wellness is a holistic family medicine practice in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Founded by Joseph Price, MD, the practice takes an integrated approach to care, combining conventional western medicine with other complementary methods. Dr. Price and his staff know that imbalance can cause and worsen illness, so they work to help patients find equilibrium.

The team of practitioners believes optimal health involves more than the absence of disease — it is the conscious pursuit of the highest qualities of spiritual, emotional, physical, cognitive, and social well-being. The team also understands that preventing illness is preferable to treating illness, and addressing underlying issues is more effective than treating symptoms alone. 

As a holistic physician, Dr. Price encourages all patients to take control of their health with education and better choices. He approaches these conversations with a sense of humor, love, hope, and enthusiasm. Dr. Price, and the entire team, urge and support patients to build on their own innate healing capacity.

A new service called RPM, Remote Patient Monitoring, helps monitor certain chronic patients’ blood pressure, pulse-ox, weight, blood sugar, with more to follow. Medsien, a partner in patient care Dr. Price, will connect with qualifying patients. 

Partners In Wellness manages the entire family’s needs, providing children’s wellness exams and annual physicals. Dr. Price also offers comprehensive care for patients with chronic health conditions like diabetes and hypertension. Patients can expect longer visits to fully address their concerns and a partnership that supports preventive and curative strategies.

Dr. Price and the holistic practitioners share a common belief that wellness is based on balance, and true healing is a joint commitment between patient and practitioner.
