About Dr. Jun Zhong, MD
Jun Zhong, MD, specializes in the treatment of substance use disorders at 2nd Chance Treatment Center. He offers his clinical expertise to patients in the communities of in Phoenix, Glendale, and Gilbert, Arizona.
With extensive training in psychopharmacology as well as experience in community psychiatry, Dr. Zhong has a unique perspective on addiction psychiatry. He applies a personalized and compassionate approach to the treatment of alcohol and opioid use and co-occurring psychiatric disorders.
Dr. Zhong earned his medical degree from Southeast University in Nanjing, China. He came to the United States to complete his residency in general psychiatry at Saint Elizabeth’s Hospital in Washington, D.C. 2nd Chance stands up to it’s name! This is a compassionate and emphathic group who know you when you walk through the door. There is little to no attrition making it easy for me to remember their names. The doctors seem to be intuitive and knowledgeable about my concerns, my meds and my overall behavorial needs.
