Board-certified psychiatrist Justin Zeppieri, MD, is skilled in the evaluation and management of adult mental health conditions as well as treatment for those struggling with addiction. He sees patients at the Phoenix, Surprise, and Glendale, Arizona, offices of 2nd Chance Treatment Center.
Dr. Zeppieri completed his undergraduate studies at York University in Toronto, Canada, where he majored in psychology and minored in art history. He went on to complete his Doctor of Medicine degree at the Aureus University School of Medicine and completed his clinical rotations at teaching hospitals and clinics in the United States.
Following graduation, Dr. Zeppieri began the competitive ACGME-accredited psychiatry residency training program at the University of South Carolina School of Medicine. During his time there, he was selected by faculty to teach medical students specific topics in psychiatry as a clinical educator. He trained students in multiple topics, including the treatment of common psychiatric conditions, effective interviewing techniques, and supportive psychotherapy skills.
Before joining the team at 2nd Chance Treatment Center, Dr. Zeppieri spent time in private practice as a general adult outpatient psychiatrist. He is excited to bring his experience to the communities of Phoenix, Surprise, and Glendale and welcomes new patients to the practice.

2nd Chance stands up to it’s name! This is a compassionate and emphathic group who know you when you walk through the door. There is little to no attrition making it easy for me to remember their names. The doctors seem to be intuitive and knowledgeable about my concerns, my meds and my overall behavorial needs.
