Dr. Dempsey and her staff have been AMAZING since my very first encounter with them. Everyone is so welcoming and personable. Dr. Dempsey explained my diagnosis and what I should expect for entire process involving my treatment/suShow morergery/aftercare. Everything was broken down to me so that I could understand. I especially love the fact that she is openly spiritual and incorporates prayer into everything she does as long as that is something you are comfortable with. She led a short prayer prior to taking me back for surgery and I loved it. I thank God for both Dr. Dempsey and her staff, Ashley and Alexis were awesome as well. God forbid, If you find yourself needing her services, rest assured you will be in very good hands with Dr. Dempsey for sure!
My office visit with Dr. Dempsey overall went well. I enjoyed meeting with staff as well but not sure if was because the week of Thanksgiving, when I called Wednesday and left 3 voicemails at least 2 left before 2pm I never had aShow more call returned. As of today 11/28, I also sent an email and still no response via return call or email. I have already had my Sentinel Injection but no EKG orders. I requested to have them both done at the same place so I would not have to drive all over the place. My surgery is scheduled in 3 days and I am hoping I get a call before my surgery.

Dr. Dempsey is a native of Louisiana and earned her Bachelor of Science degree at Newcomb-Tulane College in New Orleans. She went on to earn her Doctor of Medicine Degree from LSU School of Medicine and completed a residency at the University of Texas at Houston. She also completed a Craniofacial Research Fellowship at the same institution.
Dr. Dempsey has dedicated her career to women’s breast health issues and breast surgery. She specializes in minimally invasive biopsy techniques, partial breast irradiation, and breast-conserving therapy when appropriate. Dr. Dempsey is also a specialist in oncoplastic breast surgery, which combines cancer treatment and cosmetic outcomes.
She leads a very busy life between caring for her patients and spending time with her family.
