My original hearing aids were purchased in 2014. I had not had them checked for two years. At my appointment today I found out one of them was not working. It had to be returned to the manufacturer for repair. Long story short, I Show morereturned home with a new programmed set of hearing aids to use until mine is repaired. Dr Prather is fantastic! She doesnt give the "Its Tinnitus theres nothing we can do" She goes above and beyond to find a solution for a better life living with Tinnitus. From reaching out to coleagues. Or spending extra time in thShow moree booth to get as close as possible masking frequency. The absolute best hearing Doc I have seen. I do still struggle but with her help I can better cope.
Dr. Kelly Spiller has been an Audiologist for over 13 years. She received her Bachelor’s degree in Speech Pathology and her Master’s Degree in Audiology from Central Missouri State University.
Dr. Spiller is an ASHA-certified Doctor of Audiology and works in many different areas of the profession. She was the founder of Professional Hearing Center in 2008 and merged the clinic into ENT Associates of Greater Kansas City in July of 2015 and became President of the new organization. In February 2016 she founded a non-profit company – Lend An Ear Foundation. In addition to running the practice she works with ENT physicians and Physical Therapists involved in Vestibular and Balance Disorders.
Dr. Spiller will evaluate each patient and recommend appropriate treatment options such as hearing aids, medical referral or hearing protection.
In her spare time she enjoys spending time with her 3 beautiful daughters and has recently taken on the rewarding challenge of being a foster parent to children in need of a safe and loving home.
