Dr. Guerrero, My appointment on 09/21/22 was fine, but I would like to share my frustration with the Billing department there. I was scheduled for a hysterectomy on 09/22 and received a phone call on 09/19 saying my pre-auth wasShow more denied and my surgery would have to be rescheduled. This is three days before my surgery. I contacted my insurance company and found out that the pre-auth that was submitted by the office did not include any documentation needed so it was denied, but that was on 07/09!! And no one in that department reviewed my account until three days before my surgery. When I spoke with Rachel she just said that the person who submitted the pre-auth was no longer there. That really isn’t an excuse for there to be no follow up with my account. I had that surgery scheduled three months prior and I am the one paying the price because the office did not do their job correctly. What’s worse is I called my insurance company yesterday and they said they have no record of an appeal or another pre-auth submitted and I’m supposed to now be scheduled for the 13th of this month, but there is no confirmation from the hospital. As you can understand, I have to make arrangements with my employer so it would be nice to know if I can finally have the surgery next week. I’m sure you can understand my frustration. I’ve been getting my period more frequently and the crapping is almost unbearable. It makes me nauseous. I emailed Rachel on Monday and left her a voicemail yesterday and have not gotten a response. Is there anything you can do to make sure this happens on the 13th? Thank you, Anne Freeburg
Dr. Johnson was absolutely wonderful. She immediately put me at ease as a new patient, and I have nothing but good things to say about her. She is trustworthy and I am happy to call her my provider. However, I was disappointed bShow morey the processes of the office. I was asked to arrive 15 minutes prior to my new patient appointment, which I had no problem doing. In fact, I arrived 20 minutes early to insure I gave the practice plenty of time. However, my appointment was at 2:00, and I was not called back until 3:20. Therefore, I waited an hour and 40 minutes in total. I was very disheartened to wait so long. It was frustrating to see so many others come in and go before me while I waited.
Dr Guerrero is a board-certified obstetrician and gynecologist born in Dominican Republic, in a family with a long tradition in medicine, with interest in the field since a young age. She practices at The Women’s Center, which has multiple locations in Orlando, St. Cloud, Altamonte Springs, Oviedo, Ocoee, Winter Park and Celebration, Florida.
She graduated Magna Cum Laude in medicine in 2005, after completing her last year in the University of Miami. During her academic years she received several national awards to the student merit in her native country. She completed her internship and residency in Temple University Hospital in Philadelphia in 2011.
Throughout her career she has cultivated a passion for the integral care of women in all the stages and aspect of their lives, she likes to listen to her patients and center her care in their needs and desires. She is also a contributing author to books that focus on the different aspects of a woman's life specially motherhood.
In her free time, Dr Guerrero loves outdoor activities such as running, biking and taking advantage of the Central Florida weather. She is the proud mother of two children.

I recently had my first appointment with Dr. Larissa and it was a very positive experience. The office was easy to locate, and the staff was welcoming right from the start. Dr. Larissa was really good. During the consultation, Dr. Larissa was attentive and took the time to listen to my concerns without rushing. I was particularly impressed with how well she explained making sure I understood everything. I highly recommend Dr. Larissa to anyone looking for a knowledgeable and caring gynecologist.
Dr. Guerrero treats you as more than just another patient and always listens actively to every concern and question. She was my OBGYN at a previous practice and I was so elated to be able to continue receiving her care now at the Women’s center. 100% recommend.
