About Dr. Lawrence Jaeger, DO
After graduating with honors from Rutgers University, Dr. Lawrence Jaeger was awarded an academic scholarship to pursue his medical studies in Kirsksville Missouri. After graduating Medical school, Dr. Jaeger decided to return home to New York to complete his internship in medicine and surgery at Saint Vincent/ Saint Claire's Medical Center. He was awarded a 4 year dermatology residency program at Saint Barnabas Hospital Center, one of the largest teaching hospitals in New York City where he became Chief Resident. After completion of his residency, Dr. Jaeger was asked to remain on staff as Director of Dermatologic Surgery in charge of teaching the residents new dermatologic surgical techniques.
Dr. Jaeger founded CITY DERM over 26 years ago and still remains it's medical director today, where it has grown to become the leading provider of medical, cosmetic and surgical dermatology in the New York metropolitan area. As a board certified dermatologist with over 26 years of experience, Dr. Jaeger specializes in all aspects of dermatology, but focuses on cosmetic dermatologic surgery in the Manhattan facility. He is a fellow of the American Osteopathic College of Dermatology, a member of the International Society of Hair Restoration Surgery, The American Phlebology Society, American Academy of Dermatology, The American Osteopathic Association and the American Medical Association.
When Larry finds time for relaxation, he can often be found on the ski trails with his wife and two sons or tinkering around and restoring vintage Motorcycles alongside his two goldendoodles; Ziggy and Duncan.
