On our 1st visit to this office Dr. Lubega gave my son a very through check up, checking things his old pediatrician never did like a hearing test, reflexes, and his spine for scoliosis. The reception staff and nurse/tech we're alShow morel nice. Overall it was a pleasant experience except for 2 things. I was not fond of Dr.lubega making comments about my son's weight right in front of him which caused him some self consciousness and I was not fond of her apparent dissatisfaction in my refusal of the flu shot, which we never take and will never take. Otherwise it was a good visit

Led by Margaret Lubega, MD, First Pediatric Care Center staff value building long-term patient relationships. Dr. Lubega is a pediatrician with nearly 20 years of private practice experience. She graduated from the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia with a master’s degree in demography and completed fellowship training in population research and training at Johns Hopkins University School of Hygiene and Public Health in Baltimore, Maryland.
Dr. Lubega earned her medical degree from Makerere University Medical School in Kampala, Uganda. She finished her pediatrics residency at Lincoln Medical and Mental Health Center in Bronx, New York, before going into private practice in Newton, Kansas. Relocating to North Carolina in 2002, Dr. Lubega opened First Pediatric Care Center in January 2004.

Straight forward doctor she’s fantastic.
