I was hesitant at first, even canceled my first appointment. Then a friend got breast cancer and I knew it was time. My long time doctor had moved, and then retired, and It had been years since I'd sought medical attention from aShow moreny kind of doctor. I was initially drawn to Dr. Chinn's practice from the website; and I can attest they are who they say they are. I made an appointment with Dr. Chinn, and never, not once, regretted my decision. The staff are amazing, kind, courteous, and personable. The office is an extremely comfortable, welcoming and an empowering environment. Also, I've never had to wait for an appointment. They are as respectful of your time as they are of your well-being. As far as Dr. Chin goes... I love her like a sister, trust her like my mom (probably even a little more), and respect her as the most knowledgeable, inside and outside the box thinker, medical practitioner I've ever had for a doctor. Her education is ridiculous and demonstrates her lifelong passion for women's health. The experience and knowledge she's acquired over her vast career combined with her continued pursuit of the most up to date information and technology in women's care, make her the best suited doctor any woman could ask for. Plus, you'd think with all those smarts and doctoring, she'd be medicinal, boring, impersonal, but that's not her at all! She's humble, so funny, personable, and totally down to earth. I've shared things with her, concerns that I've been embarrassed to speak with other provider's about, and never felt an ounce of shame; in fact just the opposite, and relief to have finally rid myself of the monkey on my back and find a solution! There is no better feeling than fully trusting your doctor to have your back, the confidence to share anything, even something so trivial as depression that your dog is dying; she'll give you a hug if you're a hugger, take time to discuss your feelings, and find a solution to help you get through it. She is who I depend on to advocate for me when other doctors won't listen, and she always ensures that the care I receive outside her facility is with reputable doctors that have good track records. She has completely changed my fears and hesitation to seek medical care and I actually look forward to our appointments. There's not one time time I didn't leave feeling better than when I came in. Dr. Chinn is on a different level than any other doctor on this earth. Her standard of care, in my opinion, puts others to shame. They limit their care to what the patients insurance will cover, despite the appropriateness of the actual treatment required. Dr. Chinn doesn't do that; in addition to her brilliance and kindness, she is unlimited in her ability to provide the broadest spectrum of medical services, and prescribe the most appropriate care for your specific needs. She provides effective solutions. There aren't words that can adequately describe my gratitude for her. If you want a doctor that you can trust like a sister; one who is so kind, and considerate of your specific needs; one who is also beyond intelligent and innovative enough to guide you to your best life, Dr. Chinn is your answer. From the moment you walked through the front door, you’re welcomed by pleasant staff and relaxing environment that includes a coffee bar. Dr Chinn is a Godsend. Not only is she extremely knowledgeable with woman’s health, she is RShow moreeal and easy to converse with. The patient rooms have a small sofa to sit, enjoy coffee while talking with Dr Chinn. I believe anyone would be comfortable with her. She is an Expert with Women’s Menopause!

Dr Chin and her staff are amazing. They have a way of making you feel comfortable and cared for and important. I don't know where she and they have been all of my life here in the Skagit county but I am so pleased to call this doctor and office "mine" now.
Dr. Melissa Chinn is not only my gynecologist but I chose her to be my primary physician as well. She is one of the most AMAZING doctors I have EVER come across in almost 64 years of living! The staff at Chinn Gyn is always so friendly! Dr Chinn takes thr time to listen to your concerns and helps explain things in a way you understand. I never feel like I'm being rushed through my appointment at all.

An Exceptional Doctor Who Truly Cares I had an outstanding experience with Dr. Chinn. From the very first moment, she made me feel completely at ease, as if I had known her for years. Dr. Chinn took the time to truly listen to my concerns, explained things clearly and patiently, and followed up with genuine care afterward. Dr Chinn is amazing. She is very professional and knowledgeable. She does what is best for the patient and tries not to prescribe drugs that are not absolutely necessary due to use alternative methods first. It is so refreshing.
Dr Chinn runs a practice where everyone treats clients with kind professionalism. She and her providers are educated to highest standards and provide top-notch care. As for my personal care, I trust Dr Chinn to listen closely and provide the best for me.

Took me too long to find the amazingness that is the Dr. Chinn team! I came to her in tears and so depressed I was losing so much hope. 2 Years later and I am living life again, working through menopause in a way that makes me feel seen and so supported. It was such a relief to know that suffering wasn't just part of the process. Forever grateful!
