About Dr. Michael Abrahams, MD
Dr. Michael Abrahams is proud to join Rosh MFM at NYU Langone after practicing Ob/Gyn at Maimonides Medical Center in Brooklyn for the last 23 years. He is a Magna Cum Laude graduate of the Yeshiva of Flatbush in Brooklyn, who went on to Boston University Medical School’s prestigious combined degree medical program after which he completed his residency at Maimonides and Harvard University’s Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital in Boston. Dr Abrahams also completed a one year fellowship in gynecologic surgery at Pennsylvania Hospital in Philadelphia, only to return to New York for an extended career in solo private practice. Dr Abrahams is board certified and is a fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology. He also maintains certification as a North American Menopause Society (NAMS) menopause practitioner. He has a particular interest in advanced maternal age pregnancy, premature menopause, primary ovarian insufficiency, and complicated menopause transition (see MenopauseSpecialist.com). In addition to his enjoyment of taking care of patients
during their pregnancy, he has developed a regional reputation for his attentiveness to issues of abnormal uterine bleeding, hormone balancing and integrative care of menopause and peri-menopause. He is Halachicly (Jewish law) aware and well connected to the local rabbinical community. Dr. Abrahams looks forward to working together with the excellent team at Rosh MFM for the care and safety of his patients.

I truly loved my visit to Rosh yesterday. The front desk staff were swift and efficient, and my appt was right on time. The doctor was kind, took her time with me, was caring. and funny to boot. I will definitely be making all of my subsequent OB-GYN appts here!
Dr. Villanueva was very thorough during my visit. She asked lots of questions to understand my history in order to get the right treatment for me. I wasn’t rushed at all and had plenty of time to ask all my questions.
The wait wasn't long and Dr. Bonilla is a warm and caring gynecologist. She gave me time to ask questions and addressed all of them.
Apart from the waiting period of over 30 min, everything else was smooth and Dr. Jaffe was very helpful in answering every question I had.
