About Dr. Michael Chin, MD
Michael Chin, MD, FACS, RPVI, is a board-certified surgeon at Mission Surgical Clinic, which has locations in Riverside, & Corona, California. He specializes in treating a wide range of vascular and general disorders. Dr. Chin has practiced in the greater Riverside County metropolitan area for over 28 years.
Dr. Chin earned his medical degree from the Keck School of Medicine at the University of Southern California (USC) in Los Angeles. He went on to complete a general surgery residency at Highland Hospital in Oakland, California. He then advanced his training with a vascular surgery fellowship with the renowned Dr. Max Gasper in Long Beach.
He has been integral in developing new surgical training programs in the Inland Empire and is well-regarded by his peers and patients alike. He is compassionate about teaching and is a member of the core faculty of the Riverside Community Hospital General Surgery Residency Program.
He is on the Board of Advisors of the California Baptist University Physician’s Assistant Program. Dr. Chin is active with his alma mater, USC, in its alumni association. He is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons (ACS) and the International College of Surgeons.
Dr. Chin is a member of the American Hernia Society (AHS), the Vascular Access Society of America (VASA), the California Medical Association (CMA), the American Society of Breast Surgeons (ASBS), and the Riverside County Medical Society (RCMA).
Dr. Chin, who has developed deep roots in the Inland Empire, is dedicated to providing skilled surgical care to all his patients.

Super effecient and professional. My appt started exactly on time. Both the surgeon and the staff were friendly, compassionate and considerate.
The nurses, anesthesiologist and surgeon were all very caring and professional. They were very informative about the procedure and on how to take care of my self afterwards.

Good experience. Front office pleasant. Dr. Chin friendly yet professional. I appreciated his skill in performing my surgery and appreciated his care and concern on my follow up visit.
Facility was very nice and those who tended to me were very nice. This made the procedure easier. The only thing I would like for them to change is aftercare instructions. I was told that I had to keep the bandage that I left the Surgery center with on until I got to my appointment. However when I got home I was having a hard time keeping it on and the doctors office told me that it was okay for me to change it I just have to keep it dry. This is the only thing that I think they should be in more in tune with the doctor about. The doctor's office told me that they were not too aware of the aftercare procedures at this facility. I just think that they both need to be a little bit more connected with this. Besides that the facility is a very nice place.
