I totally loved the doctor. She took time to understand the issue. Didn’t treat me as one more patient like many other cases she would have seen. Explained me well why I have, what I can do now and in future to avoid issues. I wasShow more self pay so she was very considerate about recommending me boots from amazon and asked to check for insoles if I want outside. But I would rather give her business. Loved her. I will totally recommend her. My kids were with me and they don’t like doctors in general. Their perspective towards doctors and medicine changed that there are good doctors who explains. One down part is— their whole office smells of fragrance—- actually way to much than needed in the front room. I couldn’t breathe I had to take off the fragrance diffuser and open doors for fresh air.

Experienced podiatrist Nrupa Shah, DPM, specializes in the treatment of pediatric foot deformities, sprains and fractures, and reconstructive foot and ankle surgery at Affiliated Foot & Ankle Care, with offices in Edison, Monroe, and Monmouth Junction, New Jersey.
Dr. Shah was born in Gujarat, India, and raised in Central Jersey. After graduating from Linden High School, in Linden, New Jersey, she stayed in state to begin her professional education at Fairleigh Dickinson University in Madison, New Jersey, where she earned her bachelor’s degree in biology.
After she discovered her passion for human anatomy, Dr. Shah decided to pursue a postgraduate degree and enrolled in the New York College of Podiatric Medicine in New York City. After earning her doctorate in podiatry, she moved to Hoboken, New Jersey, to complete a podiatric medicine and surgery residency at Hoboken University Medical Center. She served as chief resident in the department of podiatric surgery from July 2011 to June 2012.
Dr. Shah is passionate about honing her skills and podiatry knowledge and maintains membership in a variety of professional organizations. She’s a proud member of the American Podiatric Medical Association, New Jersey Podiatric Medical Society, and American Academy of Podiatric Practice Management. Dr. Shah has also completed courses in forefoot and rearfoot arthrodesis, external fixation, and foot and ankle arthroscopy.
Outside of the office, Dr. Shah volunteers at local cultural community services and spends time with her husband and family.
