I have been seeing Dr. Hsu for about the last 6 months and boy I'm so happy I changed my provider. He listened to me and by the end of that appointment, we had a treatment plan that I had a say in. We are working to come off Show moreof some of the medicines that I have been on for way too long. He tries to find the best treatment while also trying to minimize damage to my health. Plus he has a great bed side manner. His sense of humor can relieve the tension of a doctor's appointment.

It was wonderful to meet Dr. Hsu today. Dr Hsu is a caring person that everyone welcomes including me. He has always had my best interest. He has been my physiatrist since the late ‘90s!
Both Dr.Shu and Karen are amazing , they listen , they hear you , you are not just a number to them, they truly care about their patients

Dr. Hsu was friendly and very knowledgeable about pain and various ways of treating it. I felt comfortable talking to him and he explained his method of treatment in terms I could understand. I highly recommend Dr. Hsu for pain management. His staff was also very friendly and courteous.
Seeing a new doctor is usually anxiety provoking. However, Dr. Hsu was courteous and professional and so very nice. He actually sees you as a person and not just a number. Refreshing to see a pain management doctor that treats his patients with dignity and grace.

Dr. Powen is a very easy listener when you are talking to him.He shows compassion and realizes when one is in pain. He made me very comfortable as we conversed and took care of my needs right away. I would recommend him to anyone who needs pain management.
The doctor doesn’t listen nor doesn’t read medical records. Definitely doesn’t follow allergy list because he constantly calls in a prescription that has something that I am allergic to every time. For that reason I am done with this place
The office staff are great. Very friendly, polite, and helpful. Dr. Hsu is great. I feel like he sees me as an individual. He listens to concerns and addresses them. I am very happy with the treatment plan he has created for me. Great staff, great doctor!
Very down to earth, listened to me and my concerns about my pain and came up with a good plan for the management of my pain and how we will move forward if that plan doesnt work. Overall, very pleased with my first visit.

There have been 15 different "pain clinics, surgeons, PA's, neurologists, pill pushers and very good Medical Professionals in 30+ years to treat me. I am still here with the same problem I have endured since 1994. I was once told this wasn't a terminal issue. My response: It may not kill me but if not corrected I will endure this until I die. Tell me the difference. This Dr is 1 of only a few with a great bed side manner, I feel confident with his opinions and understanding. 2 thumbs up.
Dr. Hsu listened to my needs & started me on a new course of treatment that we both hope will have me leading a comfortable life.
