As one of the first nurse practitioners to practice in California, Raisa Howard, NP established the Women’s Clinic LA in 1992 to serve the health needs of women in the Los Angeles area.
Raisa Howard, NP earned a degree in midwifery from the Odessa National Medical University in Odessa, Ukraine. She then completed the nurse practitioner program at the University of California at Los Angeles in conjunction with the University of Southern California in Los Angeles.

LOVE Raisa. I found her after being told a previous infection was “in my head” and disregarded by a few gyns in Los Angeles. I found this clinic, made a call, and was given a call back right after she returned from vacation. Not only did they communicate my needs, they actually responded and, yes, they were able to test for the infection (that others said wasn’t real). Every time I have a concern, Raisa is always there to fit me in. The anxiety of waiting is immediately resolved due to Raisa. I know I am in good hands and I can’t be thankful enough for her and her team. She has literally improved my life. Thank you Raisa, always.
